I dont argue based of sentiments and baseless accusations. Nigeria did not get to where it is now overnight, U have had government of years....military and civilian government. Oil was the major source of income, now that the oil industry is not booming like it used to, what do u expect the present government to do. Y'all forget America did not become what it is over night. They are enjoying the works of your forefathers who were shipped against their will, sold as slaves, forced to work without little or no wages, used to to build roads, tunnels, build infrastructure. Today they are only improving and building on works already done before now. Today Africa is still struggling at the mercies of our oppressors.....
If the present government is sourcing funds from other means asides oil with the promising of improving life of Nigerians, it is not out of place to give them a chance. Every progressive country tax their citizens. We have social programs non existence before, we have school feeding program, many public schs are free or little money, we have the trader money, we have the N power, gradually we will get there
Shut up. Allow people in Nigeria to talk. Does a progressive country not protect her citizens? Which useless programmes? If Nigeria is better than it was when you left why not come back? Trader money? Which business can you start with $25 in US? How many of the public schools offers quality education? How many children are been feed? Is any of your relations in Nigeria enjoying these things? You said earlier on that you make $5,000 in a month over there which is #1.7 million in Nigeria and you are calling #30,000 an achievement of a government. You see how sentimental you are? You people just read these fabricated news online and come here to talk rubbish. Right from 1999 we have had bad government even till now. No one is exempted. All of them are scam. So stop saying what you don't know. Let the people feeling the heat talk. A bag of rice is #16,000 and minimum wage is #18,000 is that how it is in US? Do progressive government not go for medical treatment in his country? You want me to tell you that the hospital in Aso rock is not working? Where is the tax payer money that is budgeted for health? How can a hospital in White House not working? Oga ask questions and stop believing those nonsense you read online. Why do they stop the tradermoni after election? How many of your relative in public school in Nigeria are they feeding? Stay where you are and allow people that are in the country talk jare.

Its obvious that those in authority in this country have force it citizens to do what they don't want !

After all it jumia and konga that will suffer this inovation and not the counties citizens.

After all we still have Amazon, Aliexpress, Bangood, and gearbest.

Some of you Are very stupid you are using USA with high employed youths and good networks of road, hospitals, electricity, security to compare to this country ?
koboko69:
People want development and keep making noise about how foriegn countries here but are not ready for what the foriegn countries do. Here in the US they task everything u buy, cash, online, debit machines anything. This is just an example of me trying to buy a tv worth over $1000. The tax is about $68 added to the original price of the tv which is 6% of the original cost.

Instead of these animals, these sons of perfidy to restructure the economy, get Nigerians working so they can produce and pay real tax, they are busy looking for quick fixes.

Just take a look at how fat he is, ugly thieving pig. After he collects all the VAT he will head to Dubai and use to do champagne wedding for his ashawo daughter.

Nigeria likes to copy western countries. But they do not provide the amenities western nations provide.
The UK adds tax, and VAT to purchases. However, the UK has good roads, underground trains, 24/7 electricity, good hospitals, police, unemployment compensation, etc.
Nigeria just taxes, but offers no public services.

If Buhari is looking for money, start from cutting senators' salaries. What do these senators do to deserve such huge pay? A Nigerian senator earns more than the US president. Ridiculous!!
