she should stop making noise...go to American Embassy or vfs and see if they won't reject your passport if u don't confirm with their standard... different countries with different rules.

these strict rules helps in easy identification

Laila's hair is not black. She was born with very light coloured hair.. Practically blond.

Would they ask albinos to colour their hair too?

I think something was lost in translation...
For I know Caucasians with non-black hair with Nigerian nationality and passports.

PS: OP, btw Laila does not have blonde hair (natural or otherwise)

We've been through this before.

She should go and ask OAP Dotun what happened to him months back.

Where there is no law, there is no sin!

Stop running to Social Media for every lame thing.
You should be sensible enough to know the right thing to do at your age gurl.

Chikena!

Even dem Kim K and Puff Daddy's of this world respect the laws of their lands.

Read the post again about her natural hair color. People with natural colored hair should NOT be forced to dye their hair to black. That would be equal to oppression.

Which normal procedure? More like abnormal procedure. Very soon because it is believed negroes are black skinned, anyone who is light skined negroe would be asked to go paint their face black to meet the profile or standard of black hair black skin right?
Then after I snap I go back to my real identity by changing my hair to the colour that's me and removing the paint from my face.

From the comments, most people suffer either from lack of comprehension or first-to-comment syndrome. Haba, how do you ask someone with a NATURALLY blonde hair to dye it black so as to get a passport? Tomorrow if we are looking for the person, won't we be looking for the wrong features?

Are we sure that’s the lady that grilled Presidential aspirants in the last elections? Posing like a vanity fair model? Ok I Probably didn’t watch it then.

Anyways the officials are right and she is also right. They probably thought it wasn’t her natural hair as sm people now dye their hairs different colors just look at dj cuppy walking everywhere with pink hair. undecided

It's no biggie, the officer must have been trying to run a cross-check if the hair was tinted or natural as the passport is a very sensitive identification document.

And in her post she didn't say she was told to dye her hair black.

The officer couldn't have possibly known if her hair was naturally blonde .No be everybody sabi her, abi na her picture dey on top one thousand naira note ni.

The immigration officer did a nice job.

Kudos.

If I was in charge u must go back to black hair. Why? Coz I know if i allow u u would go on social media to brag on how u taught me my job.

Which is why you and the 26 people who liked your comment will NEVER learn.
So you can't take correction?

You are the typical Nigerian that is making this country what it is today.

Abi, o! shocked Good question. I want to find out if albinos are forced to dye their hair black, before being issued passports.

I know some people who are not albinos, but have a reddish-brown skin tone. Their hair is a light brown, ginger shade. Would they be asked to forcefully dye their hair black, as well? Na wa for this country, o!! shocked

What low sense be this...

Why would you want to snap with your artificial hair for photo Id... Naija never worse reach that level madam...

Go with your natural self for capturing...

If they have issues at point of entry with that same Id, they'll blame Nigeria.

Do you know how silly you sound?

How can someone with naturally blonde hair "go back to black hair", according to you?
She was born with blonde (light colored) hair. She never had black hair. Same as you telling an albino to dye his naturally light colored hair black before you capture him on photo.

Do you comprehend it now? sad
