Lol. If we are united, we will mobilize like 10,000 young men to enter ShopRite and take whatever they want from there. After that, the next xenophobia, ShopRite will personally pay the South African police to quell it.

Propaganda......!

These actions (inactions) are that of a weak, inept & incompetent leader!

You've sent an envoy? To deliver a message?

If you had sent 10 machete's for our people it would have been better!

Pathetic President!
Advise a sensible course of action he should have taken?

Time to act in a way to demand respect, Nigerians are all sitting at home and tweeting.

The South Africans know that Nigerians are all talk. The most that will come out of it is diplomatic talks, then they recoil to the shells and wait for another day.

Xenophobic attacks are here to stay. How many times already? Just one action on Ekweremadu and politicians are sitting up. That's what actions get. Everyday Nigerians are constantly reminded that their existence is inconsequential and they cowardly accept it. From Kenya, Ghana to SA. Even among fellow black people, Nigerians are bullshit.

To threaten to send herdsmen is Childish talk. As if herdsmen are a weapon of the FG. How some of you reason is even beyond common sense.

The delegation he sent will be delivering necessary message of consequences of their actions if they don't stop.

Good one, part of my suggestion in the other thread.

To those suggesting attacks on Shoprite, 99.5% of the workers there are Nigerians, the mall housing the supermarket is mostly owned by state govt or private Nigerian investors, there are also Nigerian shops inside the mall.
MTN Nigeria is now like a franchise, majority of shares are owned by wealthy Nigerians according to Nigeria Stock Exchange.
Nigerians also have a major stake in Multichoice the owners of DSTV. Workers in DSTV Nigeria are almost 100% Nigerians.

We will only hurt ourselves and relatives if we burn down these companies.
Nigerian Government needs to acts now diplomatically, sanctions should be placed on SouthAfrica, high powered delegation should be sent to SA to provide relief materials to Nigerians affected and meet with the Nigeria community over there.
We demand a total handover to Nigerians

No Nigerian leader can deceive me again
Re: Xenophobic Attacks: President Buhari Despatches Special Envoy To South Africa by lokzie: 2:46pm On Sep 03, 2019
At least let us give the President some credit for dispatching a special envoy to SA. He is the president of our country and whether we like it or not, he is the person on the seat and has the power to use or command diplomatic engagements to see this issue resolved.
God has used different people and different things in the past, the president’s heart is in God’s hands and HE can turn it to any direction HE pleases.

Having said that, the same way he dispatched an envoy to SA is the same way Governors and elders have been dispatching special envoys to Aso rock due to the incessant insecurity in our communities and country as a whole. I pray that the SA president will act better than how Buhari himself has acted so far towards our own local insecurity.
Ultimately, we need a leader with ideology in Nigeria, someone strong-willed and with clear direction of where this country should be headed. Nigeria let us as citizens pity ourselves in the next presidential elections and vote people who know what they are doing, are competent and can actually LEAD the country, if not for ourselves, for the sake of the little kids we are bringing into this world.
