Goodmorning. Please I have a doctor of Optometry degree and I would like to find out the best designated ECA organization to use. A friend is using WES, but someone told me CES is less cumbersome

Please I just want to confirm this, before moving forward. I have one year experience in teaching and two years experience as an external auditor, can I use this to claim three years experience given that they are two different occupation but all within the 10 years bracket?

And if yes to the above, which would I include as my primary occupation?

Thanks

Please I need an urgent advice.

My mother in law wants to assist with a part of POF. In order to reduce documentation, is it advisable she transfers the funds directly to me and I get a gift deed or she sends to my wife, who will in turn transfer to me then get gift deed for her?

She can transfer directly to you and do a gift deed.

Secondly, am planning to put the funds in t-bills, is it advisable I fix the funds separately or I can merge it with my other investment that will mature next week and fix all together?

Either option is fine. But the latter option seems more tidy.

Since both are at least one year, you can use either of the two. For me, I'd choose the two years experience as it helps more in eligibility assessment. More so, because the 2 years experience falls under NOC 1111, it may come handy in get NOI from Ontario under their Human Capital Priorities Scheme.

Will your wife be providing the statement of her account as part of your documentation? If yes, then you’ll need to get a gift deed letter stating the obvious. If not, then she can transfer to your wife and then to you.

Merge everything, you don’t want too much documentation. The gift deed explains where the money comes from,so you can fix the total.

Thank you so much for your time and advice. I appreciate.

She has transferred the funds to my wife who will then move it to my account.

Please is it automatic i submit both gift deed and her statement of account in scenarios like this? I would prefer not to submit her statement at all because bulk of the money is in my account.

Good morning NL FAM. Please my mum's name on my birth cert is written as Nkechi but on my brother's who I'm claiming points from, its written as Nkechinyere. Should we go make a one and same person affidavit for her or go ahead and use it like that.

I think a better way to avoid multiple documents is for the gift deed to be written for your wife alone, then she can write a letter of permission saying that both of you have access to the funds. According to IRCC, "you may be able to count money in an account under their name (your spouse) only, but you must prove you have access to the money." That's under the assumption that you're applying as a couple.

Hi, How long did it take Unilag to respond to your request? I have been checking the website for months now and there has been no update. I am not in Lagos hence I cant go to the records office. Do you have a contact you can share?

[quote author=Vader92 post=82248984]Good day house. Please, I’m new here and the information posted here has been helpful. Please, I have an issue that I need your suggestions on.

Hi guys,

I am thinking of withdrawing my application as I am so tired of waiting.

My application is 13 months post-AOR.

I applied July last year 2018 and added my spouse to my application in February of this year, 2019.

File was moved from Ottawa to Accra in July 30, 2019.

Accra VO asked for ADR for proof of marriage docs, communication with my wife and proof of salary payment from employer or pay stubs.

I submitted all, and for the proof of salary I submitted salary certificate as I was paid in cash.

Now the wait is tiring and I want to withdraw my application. I am an in-Canada applicant and my work experience is from Nigeria.

My people, is this how they ask everyone to raise their hands like a criminal during the biometrics?

I was almost contemplating if it’s a robbery case or biometrics o.

Anyway, biometrics done!

God please! May our watch be short! Amen
