Fact, it's pure luck now.
SOGalex:
Apparently, the fate of an applicant is solely on the type of VO handling the application. No more rules here.

Sadly I got my refusal this night
Submitted 9th August
Medical passed 13th August
Biometrics 14th August
Bvl 30th of September
Refusal mail 30th of September

The wait was more killing than the refusal lolzzzz
I don't think I can take the trauma again.

Am glad the lessons learned from the gurus at least reduced the number of reason to just financial.

Thanks all
Oga Frank I still hail you any day any time.

I am glad you find the little piece of information helpful. In my absence, there are other knowledgeable individuals here in the person of Mcobex, Naijaforeigner, Justmellow, Austacus and Makano etc. These guys have been so helpful to prospective applicants and are doing a great job here. I applaud them for their selfless works on this window. You can contact any of them via their signature and request they should kindly glance through your SOP.

Lol after 11 weeks of waiting. I applied from London in July. I just finished my BSc in the UK. I had a first class too. A first class in Software Engineering at 19 and I was going for an OBJECT ORIENTED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT programme for 8 months. More like a specialised vocational training programme. Today, I got refused due to purpose of visit and immigration status. At least the torment is over... F*CK CANADA AND THEIR IMMIGRATION POLICIES! I could have sworn I had the best SOP. Why deny me for immigration status? I was on a freaking TIER 4 VISA man. This is the end of this stupid struggle for me. UK has 2 year post-study work visa. If they had implemented this since, what would I be looking for in cold deserted Canada. I won't even rant about Nigeria. It's pointless. I'd be back to the UK next year. smiley

I got so much interest in your application after finding out you applied from London and the application passed processing time without any decision.

I prayed in my mind and wished your application was successful. Personally I just developed 100% hatred for Canada and their immigration policy after seeing loads of refusals on baseless refusal reasons. My pop can't still understand why they refused me due to 'purpose of visit' three times.

The refusal is not even as painful as the wait, the longggg wait is what traumatized me the most as my last application that was refused in June lasted about 12 weeks.
No b only Canada education good pass and no b only them dey give post study work experience.

Thank God U.K. now gives 2 years. Person way like hin self beta find other alternatives and not put hope in IRCC and their heartless Nairobi VOs.

You can change your course by contacting the international admission office of your school and explain to them why you need to do so. They will give you another offer of admission if you meet the requirements and if there's space for that program.

I regret to inform you that your application has been finalized and a decision has already been made. You should receive the final refusal letter in 2hrs-48hrs from now. I would suggest you order your GCMS note and prepare for a new reapplication. In the interim, endavour to share a comprehensive list of documents you submitted along side your previous Application. So we could know how best to advise you for a successful application.

It shall end in praises.
