TonyeBarcanista:. Notwithstanding, the distinction of our case remains for Nigerians, including generations yet unborn, to appreciate. ...........Which distinctions? Is it the poor witness presentation or illogicality of the evidence presented and argument? It is the worst case in the history of PEPT in Nigeria 2 Likes |

Going to the supreme court in Nigeria after loosing a presidential election has always been an exercise in futility because the Nigerian supreme court judges will never ever nullify a presidential election even if you show video evidence of shekau and his boy's voting for the incumbent inside sambisa forest, those judges will just tell you that shekau and his boys are Nigerians and sambisa forest is one of INECs polling booths with Shekau as one of INEC's resident commissioner in Sambisa forest. GEJ knew the futility in such exercise which is why he didn't even gave it a second thought. 2 Likes |

superlanny: You should be worried about what every independent institution has turn into under Buhari. The case is not about Atiku but the future of Nigeria. Today, N45b is budgeted for fuel, 66 billion for Generator, loans taken from world Bank cannot be accounted for. You should be worried about the state of the nation. Sadly, they cover up by telling you Atiku is corrupt. It is wrll |

Their case was very bad from the get go. No divided ruling from PEPT and I don't think, the supreme court can help them in their case. Their case was at best a law school test not even and exam question. To determine the merit in their case, you have to look at what the electoral act and constitution said. Server collation of result is alien to our electoral act, monetization and militarization is prohibited but due to insecurity in northeast, that was accept (as exception), both parties participated in sharing gifts and monies to their supporters. Qualification of the President have never been in doubt considering his records as the head of state, governor, minister of petroleum,GOC,secretary supreme military council,... and the chairman of PTF. His only sin was swearing affidavit for a missing academic qualification, of which is not unconstitutional to do so. The PDP's case was built on frivolity and Vail hence, the verdict of the court as it's. In fact, PDP/Atiku should have been charged for allowing foreign meddling/interference in our election for allowing a Kenya who is not part of our election to testify in our court. That was a bad precedent. Next we may be have data analyst from Libya, Russia, Namibia to be testify in a process of which they are not part of. 3 Likes |
