You were not informed then! Some states in US does
I happen to wear that uniform for a short time BUT the truth be said, it make no sense for all schools to wear thesame uniform. The disadvantages is more than the advantages(if there is an advantage)

Comparing osun state( aregbe said "state of. Osun) with some states in the United state is stupid. We all saw something like this coming and more will still happen because you can't say for sure that does student are from that school.

O Lord forgive me.
M e and my circle of friends caused such mayhems in our school those days. Brutality, riot, damages, clashes..... The proprietor hasn't forgiven us till today. If only they know what they're doing. The memory after some years is bad.

Ode ni bobo yi sha, idiots will always be proud of hypocrisy. Education system in Osun has been bastardised by your former loved Governor. Those school buildings you see can not be the criterium for standard education because that's the only point you want to base your argument. Yoruba RONU.
Who asked you of school buildings in Osun? You slapped yourself! So, as a knowledgeable person, facility does not concern education. Let them come and learn under your father's mango tree. Oponnu akirada.

You're entitled to your opinion, even when I was in Secondary school before Aregbesola's administration, such happens. In short, They're from the said school or won't their mate know(be able to identify )them?

truth be told students in osun are naturally stubborn...I remembered when I did my youth service there 2011,we had such clashes with the students..they come to school with knives and other dangerous objects just to intimidate us with threats..

That's the aftermath of Aregbe's foolish policy. All students in State wear the same uniform, there is no way to differentiate one school from the other. Foolish, myopic, dull, lazy, corrupt and archiac leaders we have.
Coupled with population crisis, theres no way chaos wouldnt brew out of proportion.

You are right but the same uniform policy is meant for only the state public schools. Grade 7-9( JSS1-3) same uniform, while Grade 10-12(SS1-SS3) mostly refers to as High School wears same uniform
Besides, most of the students in These public schools lack respects and discipline.
Moreover, the School heads especially the Principal find it difficult to discipline the students because the State has placed a ban on the use of cane and other enforcement measures to discipline the students in the name of Westernization.
I served in a Government school in Ifedayo LGA and on several Occasions we( Corpers) Almost had a case because the school Management couldn't caution the students and they were acting up towards us.
I hope this our over sabi Oyibo copy copy no go kill us.

God bless you. We had cases of students that brought charms to schools and the school management were even sacred for their own lives as the Principal and Permanent Teachers advised us to beware of them.

Secondary schools in Osun are more violent than any other state I know.
When I looked back, I still wonder how me are my colleagues are now calm and highly religious/spiritual compared to what we did back then in sch.
I experienced cultism first hand in sec sch, so I wasn't scared of them when I got to higher institution.

He did it because his friends own Sam and Sam and they import cheap rubbish materials from China and collect money from the State.

First they stripped the local tailors and businesses one key aspect of their income which sewing school children's clothes and also killed the local clothing market. We all shout about capital flight but most of our so called dumb leaders know nothing about governance. Someone not fit to fun a pure water factory aspiring to run a State with millions of inhabitants.

I can't imagine people who are already rich would go to such lenghts to improverish thousands of artisans just so they can make a few million bucks. Stories I heard from the scheme aren't good tales at all. Forget the buying of Uniforms for kids. Laudable but you can't run a totally "socialist government" where people rely on government for all basic necessities. In this one he didn't even run a socialist government, took from his citizens. Gave an huge slize to China and the crumbs were inherited by his fellow crownies.

these kind of activities is ramped in osun state. I served there and during my services days, u dare not flog any student. if u try it, the next day he will invoke his father shrine to school. they don't discipline them. there was even a time a fellow Corper flog one student, he brought all the charms his father has. that was wen all the corpers refuse to go to their ppa until LGI intervene.
