My first account on this forum was about a year and half ago "LoveStreet" ,I left the forum and created a new account 4 months ago "BeachTime" and then deleted that and created this account. Through out my time on this forum, I've always posted positive and progressive ideas and comments devoid of insults and bias.

In my time here I've observed that most Nigerians are sadistic . They dislike and oppose good news or progressive ideas . They love negative news,Gossips, insults, and gory images .
The following adjectives best describe the typical Nigerian in my perception : Ethnic /religious bigots , Corrupt, dishonest, Myopic ,sadistic and wicked, Perverted, and immoral.
Most Nigerians think everyone on this forum must be Nigerian, live in Nigeria ,or must have such a shallow and depraved mentality like them. They find it difficult to accept sound and honest reasoning from their primitive and jungle mentality.
I think mental health needs to be taken seriously in Nigeria, and Nigeria needs at least 20,000 psychiatric hospitals to cater for the urgent need of at least 80 percent of Nigerians.
I am in no way disparaging anyone . In fact,it makes me feel bad because all I see are a broken people who need love.
If you're Nigerian, then case closed. I like it when people speak for themselves. You're doing well

80% of Nairalanders are frustrated. Poverty leeds to frustration and psychological problem. So blame the country for breeding so much poverty in the land.

The ones that amaze me are the igbo/ Yoruba warlords. Always fighting for stupid reasons. Then some that have state superiority complex. Pathetic.

I saw what happened in your thread. Lol

Maybe you will start understanding why this country is not making progress.

It wasn’t built on a solid foundation.

If you refuse to acknowledge that fundamental flaw with Nigeria, then you will continue building castles in the sky.

Those who advocate for the break up of Nigeria are not this EVIL MONSTERS that are portrayed on Niaraland.

They are very rational and intelligent people who have had very deep thoughts about Nigeria and realize that it will never work.

Slowly you are coming to terms with it.

The most anti Nigerians of today used to fight for and defend Nigeria a lot in the past.

Including Nnamdi Kanu.

I was once hopeful for Nigeria just like you but I have finally come to terms with the reality of the country.

The difference between you and I is time and experience.

OP you've spoken well, we need to change the way we think and act.

I don't blame poverty or our leaders, I blame the people. Bad people breed bad leaders. Bad people make bad systems.

I must commend you for this write up and wish we as people could take this as constructive criticism and work hard to change individually which will usher in a collective change.

My post refers to a greater portion of us Nigerians, they're a few good ones of course.

That's to our advantage in the north. When the south is divided, we gain. Let them continue to fool themselves while we continue enjoying the government.

Not only among different ethnicity ,but among different communities of an ethnicity or different states of ethnicity. For example , Ngwa vs Onicha ,Efik Vs Annang, Anambra vs Imo state , Ijebu vs Egba, etc.
That means even if Nigeria breaks up,there'll still be infighting within the new countries. I just think mental health should be given more priority. The people doing all these stuffs are mental.

There is constant argument within HUMAN groups that are similar even in communist China where 90% of the population identify as Han, they still argue online about their regions. This is just human nature

BUT do you know the BIGGEST difference between us and Nations that work well?

VALUES!!!! They share similar values.

In Nigeria, the three major ethnic groups have fundamentally very Different Value systems.

Lol Op human beings are not always reasonable, some of us enjoy suffering it gives joy, all this ethnic bigotry is actually very enjoyable it excites our passions like sports

If this country had no bigotry it would be very very boring

Ps: Not just Nigeria, Donald Trump won American election you think his bigotry tweets would have stopped him

What are some examples of different values between Yoruba,Igbo, and Hausa?

Igbos value HUMAN Life, Education, competition, hard work, monogamy, meritocracy, level playing field, extreme need to catch up to the rest of the developed world in the 21st century, autonomy, wealth accumulation, and shared hatred for poverty. There are so many things about igbos I can break down for you but it’s will be very time consuming to write and too long to read. But what I said above is just to name a few.

I can’t with all honesty say that I see the same traits in the other two groups. I am not saying that individuals within those groups don’t have it but as a group, it’s a different story.

And as for Nigeria's break up, I personally don't mind if the entire West Africa is one country with each ethnic nation being states and having autonomy and control of their resources, economy, and development.
You don't need oil to develop a society. If I was governor , I would develop the place with my own secret method without a single drop of oil revenue.

Very correct.
I knew this a long time ago.

I quite agree with the op.

Since I have understood that most Nigerians are frustrated and carry innate negative energy, I have chosen to get into less arguements with them and pray they heal.

Let the moderators push this to front page. This thread is both educative and informative.

It's a call for psychological and social evaluation.

Multiple LIKES for the op I beg.

I don't argue.

The thread is about Nigerians. Politics sections is not too bad.
