How many hours will these set up last as per using it to run 32inch LED TV and DStv decoder plus 2 bulds

It's better if you can state the watt (consumption of those equipments)

But using my own practical experience, I run a load of 80 -100 watts (2 laptops and a fan) .. continuously during the day for about (8hrs). NB: battery is fully charged before using, while I stop the load around 5pm

And a celling single fan set at 1 and a 10 watt load continuously at night for 6 hours (I'm yet to kill the battery).

I just use the setup when on the move, I have another 10kva setup I used for full home stand by.

If you want to use yours for a long time, I will advise you up your panels to 300watts+ (if you use the load mostly at day time) or up your battery to 100ah+ if you use the load mostly at night time.

You can also upgrade both if you have the money, that's just extra 35k+

.

Get a 450 watt solar panel
A 200ah battery
And a 1kva inverter.

In good sunlight while in use your battery should be fully charged under 5-6hrs

Since you are already using MTN luminous, I guess you already know how to conserve power and you don't require too much.

150 watt solar panel (20k)
1kv inverter (cheap Chinese ones) (8k+)
30amps solar charger(4k+,)
40ah battery (16-20k+) (you can get 100ah if you still some money on your budget) (35 - 38k)

Total roughy - 55k.

This set up almost 180% better than your MTN luminous.

The best I v seen in a long time.
Pls can the 150w solar panel and 30amp solar charger charge 200amp battery fully?

Yes sir, under 11-13hrs of direct sunlight, so it's advisable you get a 300-450 watt solar panel to be able to fully charge under 4-6hrs

With the equipment above, you can get a 1kva ( inverter) incase you want to add more load, emergency or in future.

300 watt solar panel 150*2 panels

30amps charge controller

And a 200ah battery.

You will do fine, but if it's above your budget you can get a 20-30amps charger and a 150 watt solar panel if you do have power supply at times.

The 450 panel cost pls.
450watts can't charge your 200ah battery full in all weather, it is better you go for 600watts(150w × 4) solar panels

Please what would be the output difference if I use 3 150watt panel and if I use a 300watt +150watt panel. Also will getting a higher amp solar charger improve the charge time?

No real significant difference, the main reason why 150 watt *3 is recommended is because, you may not find an higher watt under 12V, i.e a 300 watt solar panel will likely be 24v and won't be efficient if you using a pwm charge controller for a 12v system

but if you have a mppt which is way more expensive, you can use any kinda pv arrangement you desire.

MPPT controllers are always a better fit except when cost is a significant deal breaker as they're more expensive. In simpler terms, there are no instances where PWM is better except you cannot afford MPPT.

Why tell him to forget rather than explain to him the meaning?

To the guy who asked a question. Most generators and inverters aswell are rated in VA and watts. The watts is d actualy usable power from the machine while the VA is the apparent power available.

Ideally the VA multiplied by a power factor (0.8 and above for good products) gives your the watts of the machine. And the watts is what you actually use, since your loads are usually rated in watts as well..... So in this instance,if you load this inverter above 900watts it would go into overload mode.

So pls note the watts value, if you are particular about specs and actual power values of a product.

Cheers.
