El-rufai is a failure,because destroying such hotel that can employ up to 100 or more people in the society,And now cause unemployed to them.El-rufai does not fit to be a leader.

From the pics, that structure is still strong...their is no obsoleteness with that structure.
Is still hanging and no trace of fungal or algae growth on it.

My love for Abacha does not have limits. Nobody was able to steal money, we were under sanctions but Nigeria was better compared to now.
He was a calm looking man he wore dark shade to keep a mean serious look.

I will never forget when the pope came visiting, the pope a white man dressed in white representing an Angel while Abacha a black man dressed in black as a demon because that's what most people think of him. Very strong statement

The Abacha family did not even own the hotel, they hijacked it through their front Daniel Kanu of the Youth Earnestly Ask for Abacha (YEAA).

The National Theatre in Lagos was built in the same year,1976. The two hotels were built to host the international visitors coming for the FESTAC'77 that took place in 1977. The National Theatre in Lagos is still functioning fine.

Wow!

Durbar hotel never belonged to Abacha family. They actually were two of them sited in Lagos and Kaduna. The Lagos branch was rebranded Festac 77, located at Mile 2, Amuwo odofin area. Abacha took over the hotel using proxies. It was a federal government owned property. Abacha's looting capacity has not been matched by any Nigerian. He also took over a piece of land in Port harcourt GRA belonging to a prominent Nigerian. He built a glass house there and at his demise the property completely built then was restored to the original owner by the courts.

Abacha family should just bow their faces in shame. El Rufai should be commended please.
