The world opens up to you when you have money.

They don't care where you made that money.

Focus on making legit money.

Anybody that can make 20 million in Nigeria legitimately have no need coming here to ask questions on what to do with it.

Check yourself very well.
Some people are fortunate o. I know a 21 year old kiddo that makes 2m+ monthly and you'd be surprised what he does. He plays PUBG on his phone and post the videos on YouTube. Money plenty, him no know wetin to do with am other than lavish lifestyle grin

Hello dear nairalanders.

Please I'm going through a state of mental confusion.

Currently i have approximately 20 million and 300 thousand naira in my bank account.

I have two thoughts.

1) I am 25 years old but I'm not a university graduate, i only have ND (National deploma) from a polytechnic In Edo state, Auchi precisely.

I would have become a graduate years ago but after my "ND" years ago, i refused to go back to school and i decided to hustle for money.

Most of my classmates in school back then are all graduates but all the same, looking at my bank account now, i have no regrets.

So this is what i plan on doing.

1) Can i further my Education In any university in the United States with the money and plan on staying back after my degree, for the fact that I'm 25.
Will that be advisable?

2) should i stay back in Nigeria and use part of the money to build a house In my hometown in Benin and use the rest for business?

3) Is there a chance of going to USA and start all over again, look for job.
Will the money be enough to rent a house, foot some bills untill i see a job in the USA.

Note i choose USA only because it's my dream country, I'm not scared of the traveling ban because I'm 100% confident that it will be taken away few months from now.

Please i won't be replying any mention or questions.

All i want is to take note of good advice.

I already know a reliable traveling agent.

Please other suggestions are welcomed apart from mine.

If I were you, Ill start an affiliate marketing as a side hustle. If you work hard (Im sure you can if you already hustle to this level), you can make the money back quickly. You can expend like 5m in it and if done well, youre made. Of course you can also fail, so its a risk. But all business ventures are.

If you go to Empire Flippers, you can see sites earning good morning monthly that you can buy and start making money immediately.

Of course, you have to know affiliate marketing before hand. If you are not savvy, Youtube is your friend. Watch videos on it all day and your learning will be quick.

I just gave you a blueprint that will help you stay in Nigeria and still do extremely well.

Dont go abroad o. That 20m will finish fast.

How did a 25year old acquire so much money like that is my first question

I'm surprised no one on the first page asked this question. Our values are gradually eroding away.

The first question any sane person should ask is how did a 25 year old acquire a huge sum of 20 million.

The most thriving business in Nigeria is consumables: Food!
Anything taken into the stomach through the mouth moves like bush fire, especially in lagos.
My advice:
Build a house, go to lagos, get a place to warehouse, then buy a truck and start moving food to be sold in large quantities to retailers.
Trust me, you won't regret it.

Oga, I won't write an epistle. With the present situation of the country, I advise you to go settle in the US. The Nigeria of today, you must have options like a second nationality just incase. Even if na UK, go...

Marry someone with other nationality, plan your life and create options for yourself. It doesn't take away the fact that you can still come back to Nigeria when it makes sense

Please, can you at least tell us what you did in terms in hustling to make that kind of money?

Moving such money to the United States may get you flagged. If your business is legit, stay in Nigeria. Whatever you are doing in Naija that fetches you such money may not be doable in the US or may not be profitable as is in Nigeria.

So tell us, what did you do to make such money. And in future, please refrain from announcing your finances in a public forum. EFCC agents are here, and stop thinking you are anonymous. You can be traced.

This is one of the mistakes people make by staying in Nigeria when they have opportunities to travel abroad. No one knows the condition Nigeria might face in the nearest future. Your business might even collapse due to the economic crisis. I'll strongly advise you travel, the 20m will go very far for you. Finding a job isn't difficult in usa. If you apply for work permit you'll get it. It will help get u back at ur feet after the utilization of the 20m. Opportunity comes but once and denial comes but regret

Your 20m is nothing in the US. Visa without a degree is difficult, you will end up an illegal immigrant. That means you risk every kobo spent going there to be illegal. Before you properly settle in the US, you would have spent close to 15m. How long will 5m keep you there if nothing comes that soon.

Besides the opportunities for siblings, you will hardly be able to make the same 20m to bring back to Nigeria when you are retiring or finally returning to Nigeria. Your 20m investment in the US will only get you a good life but not more money.

Invest rightly in Nigeria, and you have a shot of being a Billionaire.

My advice is split the money into 4

1. A business
2. An investment/savings
3. School fees/pocket money
4. A small house

If business fails, you have a house without paying rent.

Don't put all your eggs in one bag.

I am telling you this because I know what is actually going on here. Please stay back in Nigeria. Thank you and please heed my advice for your own good

He can go to Canada then, do his schooling, get more opportunities, from there he can move to the us, he doesn’t need to stay in Nigeria especially with our toxic economy unless he has a good investment to go into here.

20million is just $56,600.

With a master degree in STEM in USA, you will make that money in 6-7 month before tax.

If you have a sure way of leaving Nigeria to either Canada or USA, you better take the chances now.

Facebook for example give signing bonus ranging from $56,000 - $100,000. Let me paraphrase this, it means when you get a job from Facebook, they pay you this amount for just agreeing to work for them.

Nobody pays you that kind of money without bringing some real skills to the table. Not certificates , REAL SKILLS IN IT.

Mention 1 non graduate with the 3million u said that have succeeded out dere. You think say na naija part 2. You don't just go dere and start doing business or buying stocks.
You go there for education. Countless non-graduates. Your degree from here is worth squat over there, unless maybe you're a first-class graduate. I know someone that was a chief matron at Luth, she left about 10 years ago, she got over there and still had to enroll courses, do exams and get certification before she could practice over there. Today, 10 years later, she is miles ahead and doing one million times better than she could have done if still in Nigeria. She has her own house now and has gotten citizenship too. She has moved all her children over there. They are schooling and doing great. She came to Nigeria about 4 years ago, guess what for, to struggle to collect her pension of about 25 years in service. Your corrupt naija system wanted to chop her pension money. She had to fight to get it. Last 2 years, she had to come again because the pension she struggled to collect, was no longer been paid. She had to come again to sort it out. Maybe they were praying she was dead so they can eat her money. Nigeria is a shit hole.

I will not decieve you. I have noticed no one asked you about your source of income. Very important as it will help us determine your income sustainability considering that you have only ND which can't land you any serious job abroad nor can N20million start up any business abroad.

Also note that US student visa is a very though one to get with your ND. And if you are going to Europe, your statement of account will be scrutinised so hope you can explain your means of income
