A naval officer by name, David Igbashal has been declared missing.

Until missing, he was working with the Naval Command at Calabar. The family and his office lost contact with him on 21st February when he was travelling from Calabar to Otukpo through Enugu. The incidence happened somewhere in Umuchi Ngbo, Enugu state, where he ran into gunmen and since then, nothing has been heard from him.

Igbashal I know the cadet well enough i believe he should be a member of 66rc. We were in the same batallion then...


But I believe NNS victory would have sent signal to every ship and a man hunt should be going on for him ..... I believe he will be found alive. And for all those who have been posting how naval officer do brutalize civilians, dz isn't the right time for that owing to the fact that those ones might be impersonating and I doubt Igbashal was a job marshal or something during his days. Nah!!! Soldiers brutalize civilians on a daily basis. And u ll see other passerby soldiers joining hands to brutalize the civilian (i guess this counters ur point on IMPERSONATION). I dont feel a bit remorse wen i see them die in the hands of boko haram or things like dis happening to soldiers.
