Why don't he continue with his passion for medicine instead of coming to taint his reputation with Nigerian politics. He's Impacting lives already. My Opinion is that, he should stick to what he's doing already unless of course there's more than meets the eyes.

But anambra don't really need a medical doctor we need more of financial intelligent leader to manage our growing economy. I doubt this man can offer that. Good luck to him anyway

He is the kind of man that doesn't win electionns in NIGERIA; people who have a vision and have the means and smarts to achieve such a vision.

We would rather vote visionless numbskulls and fraudsters

Nigeria politics has no room for this guy. He better stay where he is if he value his life and future before Nigeria politics rubbish the good will he has build for years

Bad idea.

He may think he has what it takes to run a state, but I'll tell him for free, being a surgeon is way different than being a governor in a low performing state in a shithole country in a shithole continent.

Thunder will kill any bastard wey sey “school na scam”.

As an undergraduate student, I knew the majority of those who didn't take school seriously as the handful of the few who took it seriously. They did make pessimistic and mediocre notions about education and incidentally, they are the ones the economy is tormenting.

You either go hard or you go home! If you are good, people go look for you. You go make money. You go live large.

Show me one who made it big without formal education and constant growth, and I'll show you a hundred. The odds are so damn high against those who aren't good at what they do.

Education pays!!!

Does this guy really want to get involved in Nigerian politics?
don't mind him. Using pictures to deceive us.
Make him a governor now and he will immediately become the chief looter.
Remember Ngige, Peter odili, and co. They are all medical doctors too. By the way, being the anaesthesiologist in a surgery is not the same thing as being the surgeon.

Let us stop allowing image makers and sycophants fool us.

This is great, still baffles me how our leaders wouldn’t take a second to think about why Nigerians perform best when they are out of the country
Do they have sense.
U heard one clown in HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES saying he has got 27 Children from 3 Wives and still needs more.

If such a NONENTITY could make it to the HOUSE, then imagine the situation of those who ensured he got there.

Ok

That still doesn't mean he will make a good Governor...if Rochas with all his charitable works and Oshiomohle with all his holy-pass attitude as NLC President can end up being among the worst Public officers Nigeria has produced, then Mr Maduka should know that all this image laundry won't do him much good...

I wish him well tho...at least it isn't my state that he is intending to Govern.... smiley

These are the kinds of people that should be ruling the nation, and holding key ministerial positions... How can this nation move forward an inch when the very direct opposites keep getting the majority of votes??!... We need to sit our asses down as youths, and critically have a word with one another...

We are not yet serious!!! undecided

Dr. Maduka should continue practicing his medical calling, saving lives.

Nigerian politics as it is played today is not for his cadre of person. Buhari is our president. Number one citizen politically.

He is qualified to contest for Governorship, but does he have to be a Governor before helpning with his professional expertise?
He can stay in Ameca and come to Anambra every 4 to spend time operating and teaching. I am sure he will do better as a surgeon than as a Governor in Anambra state.
