This is plain stupidity. The Chinese are far experienced on this virus, and their Nigerian counterparts stand to gain from this experience, along with other items that come with this visit to assist in the containment and eradication of this virus. Nigeria is GROSSLY ill prepared for this pandemic, and we need all the help we can get to fight. I therefore think the Chinese should be welcomed.

Nobody is going to decontaminate anybody. That is a fact!
The most we will likely do is to quarantine them for 2 weeks, and perhaps take swabs from them in the meantime.
These guys can offer any help they have from their country.
What exactly do you expect 18 personelles (drs, nurses, lab scientists all inclusive) to physically do in Nigeria? Why is their physical presence paramount to helping? Do they want to train Nigerian Drs on recognizing corona patients? What special training is needed to treat the Corona patients, that can't be in a document and passed on to the Nigerian ministry of health?
There is a very genuine reason the world doesn't trust China at the minute.

So far, Nigeria is doing really well by global standards, we don't need Chinese assistance on it.

When the first case was reported in Nigeria, lots of people played down on it and even insinuated that the government wanted to get money from W. H. O. Now that cases are still very low we are rejecting help that would either reduce, prevent, contain or eliminate cases. I don't doubt that we have good Doctors but when you look at Italy, Spain, France and the USA etc this should make us really need help the more.
