It is the second instalment in The Godfather trilogy. Some have deemed it superior to The Godfather. Many believe Pacino's performance in The Godfather Part II is his finest acting work, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was criticized for awarding the Academy Award for Best Actor that year to Art Carney for his role in Harry and Tonto. Pacino and De Niro were the best characters. Pacino is a god! They killed it! My best scenes are the assassination of Fredo & the ending scene. If I could rate this sequel a number above 10, I would.

Godfather I and II pushed the boundaries of what storytelling and acting can be, I can't stretch the significance of both movies enough. Al Pacino's Oscar snub was too criminal

I'd like to see what you think of part III, that one gets a lot of bad rep from fans, myself included.
