I REPEAT...That's why if I were a lecturer, you just & must fail my course. YOU HAVE TO FAIL MY COURSE..It's a must. Despite all my shoutings lecturing some students that are animals in human clothing from one lecture room and halls to another. Having to rack my brain while marking some nonsensical answers in test and exams, thereafter they will now pay me this worble at the end of the month, to God who made me YOU GUYS HAVE TO FAIL MY COURSE...so as for you guys to come bribe me to pass. Okorocha's office tells you he is a Chairman of Culture/Tourism and member of Navy, Tertiary Education, Land Transport, Power and FCT, then we can begin to talk of the parastatals under his purview.

Yes, Northern Senators have more tendency to help but there are no exceptions to the rule. Even the Northern lawmakers don dey wise up although they are more approachable still.

A breakdown of the committee chairmanship slots showed that senators of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) got 49 slots while those of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had 20 slots.

Further breakdown of the chairmanship slots on zonal basis revealed that North-west had 16; North-east 11; North-central 10; South-west 13; South-east nine and South-south, 10 slots.

The chairmanship of 16 out of the 23 of the standing committees considered to be ‘juicy,’ were given to APC Senators while their PDP counterparts got the remaining seven.

The committees are Appropriation, to be chaired by Jibrin Barau (APC Kano North); Agriculture – Abdullahi Adamu (APC Nasarawa West); Interior – Kashim Shetima ( APC Borno Central); Finance – Olamilekan Adeola (APC Lagos West); and Communication – Oluremi Tinubu (APC Lagos Central).

Others are Petroleum (Downstream), Sabo Mohammed (APC Jigawa North West); Marine Transport , Danjuma Goje (APC Gombe Central); Customs, Excise and Tariff , Francis Alimikhena (APC Edo North); Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Bamidele Opeyemi ( APC Ekiti Central ); Federal Capital Territory, Abubakar Kyari (APC Borno North); and Health (Secondary and Tertiary), Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe ( APC Kwara Central) .

That was a first batch that received APL end of last year/early this year, a second batch recruitment/replacement(whichever) for another 40 to 50 people was in motion before COVID lockdown but we have not gotten any updates here since then. People were selling slots for this earlier in the year for 5m, I really hope for the sake of people who bought it that it is still ongoing.

NSIA recruitment is progressing, people on Nairaland have heard from the consultant handling that recruitment.

Before COVID 19 rumored parastatals that were also to recruit/replace this year included (this might be different now with the post COVID effect and the FG embargo)
NPA, NIPC, NIPOST, PTDF, PEF, AMCON, CBN, FIRS, NBET, ERC ,NCDMB among others

Also Federal Civil Service was to do mass recruitment for most if not all ministries, people had already started collecting and submitting forms.

Someone asked of NDIC not aware of anything happening this year but they took over 200 people last year.
