It's fashion. There's nothing wrong with it. People considered 'to match' to be the perfect fashion sense before but not anymore. If you wear red upon red and put red shoe now you might be mistaken to be guru maraji. Fashion is revolving and like someone said, na inferiority complex they worry the person that see this awkward. If na oyinbo wear am, na swag dem go call am

If na oyinbo wear am now,its fashion, but if na black man, na error...The other day i saw all these chinese construction workers, he wear kaftan with canvas, nobody do pim.
Nigerians and inferiority complex
Hmmm. If we follow this line of thinking anything, any combination can become fashion just because...

I don't think it has anything to do with oyibo though. Everything shouldn't be paralleled against what the oyibo man does or doesn't do.

nah aboki full Nta now wetin u no go see..But it can happen maybe she did dress on casual and was meant to appear in native..since camera normally won't take her LS shot that could have been a cover up.
Re: NTA Presenter Wearing Canvas And Traditional Attire by KennyRohn(m): 9:03am On May 21, 2020
It's a normal thing. I used to work at a TV station.. Most presenters come with the outfit they'll use to present on TV . They just pull it over the ones they were wearing. Every presenter does it. The woman was dressed in jeans, Polo and sneakers when she came to the studio. After the show, she'll just remove the traditional wear and take it back to the owner.
It's normal .... If you know you know. ..
I've seen a guy who wore suit top over a boxers present news before!
I blame the camera man for this error.
Most presenters are not well paid and can't afford all the fancy clothes they wear on TV.
If you've noticed some "closing credits" of some programmes you see "attire or dress" provided by "so...so and so" .

African largest television network. First in Africa that's what you called useless and worthless.

Nta is a general Nigeria network. Free for Nigerians. Are you expecting gotv to charge you or remove the station when your sub expires. Gotv/dstv is working under Nigeria. Nigeria have full control over them as long as they are base in Nigeria.
NTA is station for politicians But Gotv will leave it for all of us... I even prefer Lagos TV than That station you called General Nigeria Network.. its not the name.. it is the Content that matters

A hilarious photo of an Nta presenter has gone viral online.

The lady as seen in the photo is putting on a traditional attire and then she's wearing a canvas.

This doesn't go down well in the world of fashion. Most of us can attest to this as there are other footwear to wear other than what she wore in the picture.

NTA news, nawa for una wardrobe ooo. All stars lori Native

See photo

Her dress code to work that day was a casual outfit

Their tradition is to appear in native while casting so she just removed her top to put on a native atire and a scarf to complement it

It's quite unfortunate that Nigerian wannabes have become slaves to so-called fashion. Is there any dress code? Where is it? People have stopped focusing on decency and delving into non-issues. Do you know if she has a medical condition that requires such footwear? Anywhere I don't blame these people reacting but the camera man and the director of news.

It has to do with oyibo, we copy virtually everything they do. If a black man wears a dress or shirt with another outfit it looks strange but if a white man does the same we applaud them

It's more of what we're familiar with I think. If you wear a traditional attire of some European or Asian peoples in an unusual combination, they'll probably look at you funny but dismiss it as you not being familiar with what is appropriate and what isn't. I'm not talking about suit and tie here. I think it's the same here in this situation. The elderly would even be more appalled than the younger generation. That says something.

I know she was wearing something else btw and this was just a rushed attire for the on-screen broadcast. It's common.

She probably went to work in a casual wear&had to change for a prg without thinking that the camera would capture it all to dt extent.
But the Camera man too should have done a better job if your arguement or point is true at all.
