Not only Men but Women too. I remember when I was in the Uni, 100 level. A lady was raped and everyone got to know, I particularly received the message at home from A guy. Getting to school the following week I felt pity for the Lady. All her friends deserted her, she used to walk in group with other ladies but after the incident she walked alone, she wasn't free . Sometimes I avoid looking at her so as not to agitate her. Now, who were her friends? Who spread the news? FEMALES.

The society really is a sick one, a society that doesn't recognize rape as crime because if it doesn't rape victims will be treated like kidnapped victims. Both Women and Men can do better seriously.

They know the victims will be too ashamed to openly say they were violated
Law enforcement sef is not helping matters. Nigerian police will not take rape investigations serious unless big money is involved or unless it's a high profile case. Look at how they were asking Uwa father if she is the only girl that has ever gotten raped.
