Then people will continue spreading the virus. Let's see how Lagos will turn out if 90% Lagosians are infected with the Coronavirus. Do they think it's everyone that the virus will kill? No; Most people will remain asymptomatic and continue living and spreading it. By the time the whole fresh air in Lagos gets contaminated with the virus, maybe they will be running their scam govt from under their bed at home. So they and their families are not safe too. We are all in it together. Na where God pass dem be that.
So true. The way these people reason is so evil. Let them try to scare people from submitting themselves for testing because of the evil profiteering scheme. There must be no more lockdown when they get the result of their actions.

But what about the money being donated from world bank, United nations, Europe, America etc to fight this virus. I am very sure they would have wire it and encrypt it somewhere different from original purpose.

Maka why 40k to 50k? When Masses never shop..when many are out of job and some never see salary like before..people will just break down and stay in their various house do self treatment. No wonder the rate of suicide these days is terribly terrific.

Naija my country, I hail thee.

@bolded...... my brother, plus all the monies donated by some people, banks and organizations in Nigerian.

Nigerian government is a thieving political organization....

dem go tell us say them use all the money to build isolation centers, buy testing kits, PEP for frontliners, palliatives, dig graves for fatalities, etc., that were never genuinely in place.

dem wan give some selected people 20k , but because of their addiction to thieving, dem talk say if u get 5k for account u no go get the 20k.oya, send to those with zero bank balance, na lie, no testimony from anybody say dem done receive any 20k from the government. thieeeeeeeeeves. awon Ole jatijati.

Nigerian government is a thief generally.

I'm genuinely begging if anybody has an old laptop they are not using or slightly faulty laptop that you give out, please kindly give to me. I'm preparing for an exam (GRE) that requires I use a laptop to practice (Mock exam). Please I beg you in the Name of God

50k for test?

I'll rather use less than 10k to buy antimalaria and antibiotics.

BTW many of us have been infected and recovered without spending much...

Imagine the fuckery. So government can no longer perform tests for citizens. This will surely deteroriate the situation. More cares ahead.

Corona for scam

Imaging telling people who could not afford 3 square meals a day , to pay #50000 for test. Who are those people the government are testing everyday?

I discover that Lagos conduct more than #1000 tests everyday .

In Alimosho LGA, where we have more than #2000 Covid-19 patients. I have not seen anybody who has gone for test or declared positive.

Is government testing ghosts?

Continue to live in denial....after not less than 2 primary health centres in Alimosho local government have been shut down because the health workers there tested positive.

Over 2000 people tested positive and you want to be seeing them roaming about on the streets, or you want it to be youself, your friends or family member before you believe You better be careful of what you wished for.
CoVID19 is real

Wow!

You are intelligent. You actually know the system too well.

I go to govt hospitals well, so I know how they do there. Whether na Igbobi, LASUTH, LUTH, FMC, different health centers. Many Nigerian doctors are appalled at the system they work in, but they don't have choice but to work like that, and many of them because of evil the system is, have to train themselves to block their ears from the the cries of the public, cuz there is nothing they can do. The evil is institutionalized. It is the system. Those whose conscience are pure and can't cope with it, will work their way abroad to America or Europe or UAE and leave the evil system for the govt to continue their wickedness

Bottom line, if you are not wealthy, live with your Corona quietly and keep spreading it!!!

These people should stop this charade already, and completely open up the nation. How long will they sustain this sluggish nonsense??!

We have just been crippling the poor economy since March for nothing!!! What a shame!!!

Like someone wrote, they would soon start pushing people to private hospitals for treatment. It's only going to expose more people to the virus. What happened to the test kit developed by Senegal which they said costs just $1? They should not allow Nigerian flight to any foreign country. We all stay and enjoy the challenge. They forget that Covid19 mutates and resurfaces in patients already treated.

shocked Wow, I just read the article. Honestly, this thing is a SCAMDEMIC. I'm not saying the virus is fake but they have turned the whole COVID-19 thing to a business center. With this development, they will start giving excuses of no available test kits in public hospital again and sending people away to private clinics that they own themselves or have percentage share in the 50k tests. We have the most heartless criminals running this country. .
those Clinics are their private clinics where they shared and hidden the equipments donated for the Covid-19 tests and treatments. people with #30,000 monthly Salary to pay #40-50,000 for just test? What kind of wicked and heartless rulers ruling Nigeria?
