This was functional education that our traditional society had. Nobody dey look for job anywhere then. Every family has a specific trade and craft but we have lost it because of certificate-driven education! Because of leadership failure now, we are going back to where we were before.
Even politics it self is part of some family trade. Not every family will make it through public funds. But we've lost the tradition already. Some families' trade could be farming and they would surely make it big in life thru that... Nah we dey deceive ourselves. Everyone wants to become Governor, President and the likes

You funny!.....how will you balance your life if you don't try?... all your effort and energy you invest in FTC....that was your concession.... so how will your life ever balance?... unless Seun go crazy and begin giving out million Naira to FTC. But I like your courage to come out and tell it like it is.... I know you will make adjustments.
@ topic.... very interesting and motivating.

Parental upbringing(some) is one of our problems in Nigeria.
If you are a Tailor as a parent let your children know much about the work and train them in school
If you are a bricklayer. Let your male children know deep about the work and train them in school
What I meant by parental problems is the fact that some parents don't expose their children to the work that bring them daily bread in the family. Especially Yoruba parents. All they believe in is education then start using the yeye certificate to look for yeye job that does not exist anymore. Let's change our views. Well things have started changing now in 21st century. Our eyes are opening more more. See the young boy now I believe this was his mother business b4 he develops interest in it.

I agree totally

You didn't say what you tried... except FTC?.... did you try starting a business on your own?... producing something? Maybe if you say we can see why you failed and give advice and support to let you make progress.

tf are you blaming life
You could as well turn lemon into lemonade rather than sit down somewhere and be whinning about how life has been unfair to you
Life has been equally unfair to everyone else unless you are born with a silver spoon
if only you are passionate enough, no one/thing can stop you

Quick Question:
WHAT OTHER SOURCE OF INCOME DO YOU HAVE ASIDE YOUR SALARY

If Salary is the only source of income you have, you're just a step away from Poverty....

What if I tell you there's a GUARANTEED way to make steady passive income from Agriculture without soiling your hands with dirt or stepping a foot on the farm?

At Farmkonnect Nigeria, we believe that we do not need more farmers; we only need SMART farmers that can collaborate and concentrate efforts.

Contact 08088934536 or oyedelefoyinsade@farmkonnectng.com for more enquiries.....
