Lol it's very obvious that you don't understand the word of God and what Jesus was saying there.
The law and prophets talks about righteousness and how man can attain it by there work but as much as they try to do so in old testament they still fail because they cannot attain it. The need for Jesus to come to fulfil what the law could not do ( that is to make man righteous by obeying the law) and prohets also prophesy about the coming of Jesus Christ in type and shadows which they themselves do not fully understand because it's a mystery, but now revealed in the new testament.
Next time you want to read the scriptures, pray for understanding and make sure you attend a bible study church to grow in Knowledge. To understand Old Testament, You need to read and study New testament well.

It is common knowledge that Mohammed in search of a true God could not understand the meaning of the trinity being thought by the Christains back then. He has no one to guide him to fully understand the mission of Christ on earth. He was a man with so much passion to work for God but lacked wisdom and adequate knowledge of the bible.
However, it was easier for him to understand the old testament especially the law of Moses which he named sharia law with some adjustment.
Instead of Isaac, he intentionally changed it to Ishmael, the one God ordered Abraham to kill.
The whole Islam is base on falsehood and plaigarism of the old testament bible.
Ordering the killing of anyone that blasphem against him is a sign of low self esteem on his part.
Truth be told, he was a man of great courage.
How wonderful and peaceful our world would have been if Mohammed had someone with the understanding of the scriptures to guide him appropriately back then?

This is Old Testament laws practised by the Jews. Old Testament laws are not binding on Christians in any age.

Those so called Christian Crusaders and their sponsors are not in the faith. Even one of their popes have apologized for the wrongful and murderous acts perpetrated in the name of Christ.

Matthew 5:17ff you quoted and applied to this subject is a misinterpretation and misrepresentation of those verses.

Christ's words in Matthew 5:17, 18 can be understood by considering that the Old Testament was a covenant, an agreement between God and the Jews (Deuteronomy 4:13; 5:2, 3). Think of the Old Testament as a contract between God and Israel. Jesus did not come to "abolish" that contract (toss it aside or destroy it) but to "fulfill" it. He fulfilled its prophecies, He kept the demands of the Law, and accomplished the Law's purposes (Galatians 3:19; 5:14).

A fulfilled covenant/contract is no longer a binding covenant/contract. For instance, consider what happens when you sign a contract concerning the purchase of a piece of property. If you and your ilk can read at all, you would have noticed Shekau not only supported the death penalty but questioned the rationale of wasting time taking the culprit to court instead of executing him instantly.

Many of you are hypocritical or ignorant of the fact that Christianity condemns blasphemy - according to the BIBLE the punishment for blasphemy is also death.

LEVITICUS 24:10–16 “Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death” (v. 16).

Of course I know many of you are into denial and may want to overlook it.

many Islamic scholars appears to have lost their reasoning sense. Enough corrections on this thread and they won't reason. Comparing the Gospel of Christ to that of old which was adopted by Mohammed as same thing is wrong. Though it was abused by many in the past even some till now but now, we all know the Gospel of Christ is about LOVE AND EVERLASTING LIFE.

Dear terrorist organization haven't you seen how the world famous piss(aka peace) religion indeed lives in it. an organization that practice piss who say kill others for insulting a man but free those that insult his god(diety), other prophets.
