Is Adamawa The Land Of Beauty? by yola4er: 5:40pm On Aug 31, 2020 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZKh8gN-T4s I recently traveled through Adamawa state from Jimeta-Yola the state capital into the northern part of the state through the Mandara mountain range. My journey was to examine the veracity of the state's slogan of 'Land of Beauty' which can be seen on most vehicle number plates across the state. The views were incredible. Have a look at what i came across. Is Adamawa really the land of beauty? 1 Like

That is just a slogan. In terms of beauty, I'm sure some other states are more beautiful. 1 Like |

Raydos:I disagree. There's beauty in the land of Nigeria and Africa. It's just that the country and Continent have been plagued with bad governments and bad governance 1 Like |

Honestly, truth be told, I think the North has most of the best natural landscapes in Nigeria, but the South has the most scenic beautiful locations. Nice one OP 1 Like |

Openbusiness: What a load of rubbish. Africa is a developing continent. Just as are South America and South Asia and even parts of Eastern Europe. Being in a state of development does not mean you have ''been plagued with bad governments and bad governance''. It means you are in a state of development. Development takes CENTURIES of independence. It is nothing to be ashamed about or feel inferior about. it just IS. The UK 120 years ago was a den of poverty and destitution. They slept 10 to a room in London, Manchester, Leeds, and disease was rife. They were a developing nation. Today, they've gotten to a level of comfort. YOU will get there too. In 1960 Nigeria had 0 power stations, 0 universities, 0 expressways, near zero infrastructure, and mass illiteracy. By 2020, Nigeria has advanced far beyond that. So be patient. We are moving. 2 Likes |

Africans always blaming others for their laziness... the same British in their wisdom tried to Create in Africa what they created in North America and Oceania.. but Africans will always be Africans.. |

Magicians:The north is backward and pulling the rest of us back look at the endless war and violence. The poverty and religious intolerance and look at the almajiri's and beggers. The north is the poverty capital of nigeria and our burden, I hope someday we can get rid of this burden |
