Vision is just what we lack. Here we go making excuses and pushing blames. Saudi Aramco is one of the largest companies in the world, it's state-owned but run like a public company and even listed on their stock exchange. Their oil revenue is channelled into infrastructure and development of their citizens. There's little to no income tax to encourage investors. When you see sophisticated economic and development policies you just know, as for Nigeria, I've truly lost hope. I don't know if we can get it right in a million years. 1 Like |

After wasting and stealing billions of dollars importing dirty fuel and maintaining comatose refineries, this useless government has finally come to the conclusion that government has no business in the refinery business. 1 Like |

Cyberterror: It is foolish to speak with such certainty about nonsense. Is Buhari not also a bigger thief? What makes you sure with all the corruption and lying happening in this government that he will sell the refineries to you and not his own cohorts? The "Atiku" campaign slogan is stale and the stealing happening in this government is legendary but you can continue believing your own lies and delusion 2 Likes |

ednut1: Yaradua had no business ruling Nigeria. He never planned for it. He was mentally and medically unfit to rule Nigeria, it was an abomination that he collected the baton of leadership from Obasanjo - a Super human being ever dynamic & vibrant . In the race of life (relay race) the person collecting the baton from a fast athlete must have higher steam and speed, in Nigeria we have none.PMB was overrated, but we can all see the reverse outcome. Dangote would have remodeled and rebuilt those refineries for profitability. NNPC would have been fully privatized. 2 Likes |

JudasNaCarrot:Today bag of rice is 35k Garri is like buying KFC pizza. Everything is on the high side, we still have people who don't have jobs and still buy these things to feed themselves. Tomorrow when we blame govt for criminal acts committed by people, some fools will come out b shout 'some people will blame buhari ' . Buhari's policies have cripple the economy. Citizens are at the mercy of what they can think of to feed. 2 Likes |

nograv: While I fully agree with you, OTOH, we have to come to terms with the fact that we the people, civil servants, teachers, religious leaders, etc. are a reflection of this government, and the ones before and the ones to come -- we Nigerians collectively are evil people! If you don't believe me, take a deeper look at all the people around you (if you live in Nigeria), in government, on the street, motorists, those you pay to get simple stuffs done for you -- hell, even family members and friends! 1 Like |

Racoon: Osinbajo is a confused man. These days he is lost with his reasoning. How can govt not be involved in regulating and providing these critical commodity Is he now trying to tell us that they want to privatise NNPC ?? They were wailing that PDP have sold the country. Govt are continuously failing... Now they show that they have no solution before coming to the Govt. Always running back to what GEJ initiated.....just like dogs eating it's fecal matter |

Osinbajo is very right on this, it won't be a nice idea for the government to be running our refinery because not the level of corruption in our system. Let's hope for a better economic growth when the new refineries start working. |

The modular refineries and the Dangote will give us an edge and let's not forget about the CNG which the FG is trying so hard toward ensuring there is alternative for petrol which is gas for vehicle use. Like in the Saudi, it actually the RAmco in charge of the country oil rigs and all. It high time we have a private oil refinary management rather than governmental management. |
