From the photos, I can see that they've clipped off all it's claws and I'm sure it's fangs must have been removed as well. Even at that, it's still a wild animal and can be very dangerous. I'm sure there's someone with a loaded tranquilizer gun somewhere behind the scenes of those photoshoots.

Even lions as they are right now (as one of the deadliest carnivores), still eat grass occasionally when they have stomach issues OR whenever they feel like eating it. And they don't die when they eat grass. Tigers eat grass too. We call them carnivores because they eat meat and blood MOST of the time, but they are actually able and capable to eat grass too, which actually makes them some kind of omnivorous carnivores.
