PPR Mail- 12th September, 2020
Passport dropped at DHL enroute Accra- 25th of September, 2020 ( Wrote several mails to find out where to submit since Lagos VFS does not accept passport. Also had to renew.


14th of October, 2020- DHL delivers the parcel

I am still in awe and grateful to God for the journey.

Yes pension statement is acceptable as POF. We used it for ours. So go ahead and request for it from your PM, submit the pension statement in addition to what you have in your bank account.

Secondly due to exchange it is advisable (not mandatory) to have a little above what is requested for your family size (except if your POF is in USD)

some questions can be answered by a mere research. You could simply google best province in Canada to bla bla bla.. Then help yourself out.... However, am sure a lot of people here, my elders, will be willing to answer questions that's involves the Pre and post ITA time which might appear difficult for people to easily get answers to... So make google your friend regarding questions like this

Candidates on 465 and above should not be doing Ontario PNP or at most miss a document on purpose to buy time. That cash is not here.

I don’t think cutoff score will dip below 470ish anytime soon. Increasing number of people ( even people frm d US & UK) are showing interest in migrating to Canada;
1) young educated people are showing interest
2) more people are doing masters to boost scores
3) more people are finding ways to max English test
4) more people are becoming PRs; therefore, more people are getting sibling points.
Put all these together: a candidate that is in their early 30s with a master degree, 3 yrs wrk experience, good English score (8777) & a PR sibling in canada would be in d 470ish. People with this kind of profile enter the pool every day. Even with the large draw last time cutoff didn’t drop. Only b2b draw will bring it below 470; I doubt if that will happen anytime soon.

A free resource group off Nairaland came to our rescue. You can supplement with IELTS Liz - her writings were similar to what we learnt.

I want to find out something, if you get ppr now can one proceed to Canada even with travel restrictions? I know people who have ppr for before March 13 can travel but I want to know for those post March 13..

My EOR will be 3 weeks today, I haven't heard anything from MOD. Wrote exam on 12 Sept. Pls did anyone remark from this exam date and have gotten feedback. I don't want to miss the next draw by waiting. If there's free money I would written again while waiting for them.

I got a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario yesterday.

NOC: 2174

the PFAs do NOT dictate the % payable upon voluntary retirement......PENCOM does.
