What sort of a mindset is this... An adult should be liable to his/herself only.. Majority of parents admonish their kids for their waywardness, it's the society where the politicians holds away that encourages and uses them.

All the agberos they use to self perpetuate themselves, will they start arresting their parents for not giving them a good life?

Lagos draconian law in a country where many parents can't afford to feed their children because of Bad governance. At 18, your are an adult according to Nigerian laws.
How can you punish a parent at Agege for the action of an adult at Apapa.?

How can you give one man medication for another Man's problems? So at 21 and above parents are supposed to monitor third children like they are babies? Most of the youths who join these cultism groups do that secretly behind their parents back! Now prosecuting their parents for what they don't know about is laughable at best!

This is a very shallow take! No matter how much you train a child, an adult will finally decide to tow a part convenient for him or her. No law can hold a parent responsible for the actions of a ward over 18 years of age or even less.

It shows the mind set of our political leaders. Who's going to punish the looters for their wicked actions that put a lot of family into poverty, which leads their children into cultism and prostitution? Anyone that supports such law is an enemy of the society and a petty individual. Africans are truly living in a dark age. It's such a pity, hope they punish all the agboros whom they use during elections?

There are so many things to protest against in this country. This is one of them.

All these clueless leaders run abroad for so many things. If this type of law exists abroad will they be able to travel there?

Even the Bible says ,”it shall no longer be said that the fathers have eaten the sour grapes and the teeth of the children are set on edge”

What about a law to stop paying ex-governors crazy benefits (Kwara state just enacted that)

We need God to help us in this country and we need people to realize the need to defend their rights

I support the motion, but some failed parents will come here and fight against it.

This is the simplest way to curb and uprooted this evil in our society. It will teach new generational parents to take care of their wards and the present parents to report their kids to the law enforcement for proper mind evolution
