Even without these people Buhari had always hit between 6 and 10million votes in presidential elections.

Go check the records between 2003 and 2011.

The individuals you mentioned did help but the leverage had always been Buhari himself. Of course, they helped him in order to further their own political aspirations. That is how it works.

Tinubu became a national leader of a ruling party, and today a frontline presidential hopeful; Amaechi became a top federal minister while Oshiomohle led a national ruling party.

This was what they all worked for. However, the biggest factor in achieving all of these, undoubtedly, is Muhammadu Buhari.

Give me the name of one person in Nigeria that can muster 10million guaranteed votes even before any presidential election is conducted?

70% Almajiri voters/under age who vote based on tribal leanings + 20% voters who vote based on religion and region and rest 10% educated illiterates/personal interest claiming sophisticated but will always bring up a monumental failure.
