Real victims of Police brutality in Lagos have been showing up at the panel including the sister of the notorious Evans The Kidnapper who lost her pregnancy during interrogation by the Police. The panel is expected to sit for six months and one month into its formation, it received about 80 petitions from victims of Police Brutality, but not even one petition from a victim or family member of the Lekki Toll Gate!

I think Nigerian leaders have it too easy and should be held to account far more. Nonetheless protests still need to be meaningful and relevant in direct response to wrongful action or ledership/administrative misrule.
