Your reasoning not sound!

From your logic one could infere that since the Nigeria Government through its instruments started and or has been fighting against Yahoo then every one should embrace Yahoo since engaging in Yahoo will liberate from financial burden. If the government take a position FOR, everyone should take a position AGAINST, vis a viz.
So Elon Musk is a yahoo boy? He is the richest bitcoin holder in the world. If you are calling bitcoin 'yahoo' brosss, you are no better than those cows in Asorock.

If you have an uncle who is around 60 years old, ask him about cryptocurrency and see the knowledge gap. Now imagine him as the President or CBN governor with such level of ignorance. Now the President is far above 60 and he's supposed to give the final word on stuff like cryptocurrency how much knowledge gap would you expect from an octogenerian?

Don't expect too much from that generation. They are a bunch of retrogressives.

yes, it's the level of our education that makes us to reached that peak. Some northerners are investing in bitcoin but not much. Just minute northerners that are educated.

I think the ban will work in your favour if you eventually venture into it, as more people will be forced to buy from you since they can no longer buy directly via their bank account.

it's very reasonable. Upon the ban, Nigerians are investing much on bitcoin. Do you know that bitcoin has reached $49k today. Hopefully it will reached $50k by the end of this week.

You dey make me laugh. Something wey go reach 50k in the next 1 hour. Right now it is 49,500 USD per bitcoin.

To regulate this make more sense than outright banning.

Manna. How do you regulate anonymous transactions.
That's the problem with cryptocurrency.
This is the payment mode kidnappers are now resorting to due to its anonymity.
Yahoo boys have found a safe haven in cryptocurrency.
Those who have stashed stolen Cash from FG who cannot integrate it into the system or move abroad because of Buhari's eagle eyed approach have discovered that the best way is to go thru bitcoin.
