Deka10:

Did you say 7 days of ovulation
Ovulation is a 24hr event

Bros don't calculate it like that or else you will give someone belle, that egg dies after two days just like the sperm that may not survive after 24 hours
Re: Is This Pregnancy For Me? by HolyTitus(m): 12:10pm On Feb 25, 2021
Damn nigga!!! You hit her on the 24th - normal fertilization starts after 4days - that makes 28th; 28th of Dec. to 25th of Feb. equals how many weeks?? And the hoe is how many weeks preggy??

Now let's sit back and re-examine this issue logically then.
It seems you are not a science student. I am and I have lots of experience on this subject. This is the main reason why I'm even interested in the first place.

Now:

1. There is no way you will test pregnant 6 days after sex. It's not possible scientifically. The HcG takes time to build up in the blood and become detectable. So it's unheard of.

2. Based on her last period, date of sex and date of alleged pregnancy, it's still not possible. Once ovulation has passed, you can't get pregnant. I did all the permutations and it still comes off as wrong. The date of pregnancy indicated that ovulation was way before OP had sex with her, at least by 2 good weeks. She prolly had sex with someone else.

3. Word of Mouth: Last week or so, a YouTube video of a geh was online who fought a guy claiming he fuqed her and was responsible, till he did DNA test and he was exonerated. So saying women know the father of their child is true but they can lie about that too. You have a point that a lab attendant may not be totally qualified to dispute pregnancy but a doctor can, based on the scan results, even before DNA test. So long OP was truthful about not sleeping with her before 24th. Even hearing that she saw sumoi and tested positive six days after 24th is enough for the doctor to question her claim. It's just not possible sis.

Lol... I'm a political scientist sir... as you said you are more experience in this field so I doff my hat and hands up... My main point is that the Op is in this situation due to negligence and that is having unprotected sex so it's still her word against his word..... Please do have a good day sir...

If we follow your logic, then menstruation is supposed to be every 24 hours.

After the discharge, there is window or safe period that is between 7 to 10 days or more. Then Ovulation. Then if the egg is not fertilised for about fourteen days or more, it breaks down again.
safe period is only 5 days after period not 7 days undecided

I had sex with this Girl on the 24th night of December 2020 and on 30th of same December she told me she was pregnant, she confirmed to me that she last saw her period from November 28th to Dec. 2nd, i was so surprised that early January i took her to the hospital for a proper test which came out positive after that she told me she's not keeping the baby. She took some drugs and told me the pregnancy has gone.

It was last week she called me again that she hasn't still seen her period yet so i told to go for test, two days ago she did test and confirm she was still pregnant so i have to take her for scan yesterday myself, when the scan result came out it was showing 12weeks and five days which when calculated is more than the day of intercourse (24th dec).

Please Experienced person and doctors in the house please i need help coz I'm very confused now.

Even the man the scan told me the baby is not mine.

Below is the scan result

You are responsible for it tongue stop adding or subtracting rubbish. No science or test is exact.

By counting the 12 weeks forward to her EDD, that is 40 weeks.

We're you taught that pregnancy was 9months(36 weeks ) or 10 months (40weeks) if 4 weeks make 1 month?
The additional 4weeks to 36 weeks is to make it a prediction not an exact value.

Congrats Baba Baby cheesy

Oga egg last for at most 48 hours, you can say a woman is fertile for 7 days, five days before the egg is release which is term ovulation day and a day after making it 7 days.

I get your point on the unprotected sex part. This is prolly why OP is even being concerned about the issue. He knew he slept with her and was trying to do the right thing. Other men would have chased her away, whether responsible or not.

how many days is her normal menstrual cycle, that is it 28 days, 29, or 30 days, from there one can calculate it properly

Wrong. Sperm can last up to five days. Seems like a lot of people are confused when it comes to safe days and ovulation.

Sir... as long as you bleeped her without protection which I believe is absolutely irresponsible then you will need to take responsibility until the baby comes out and you do a DNA.... We Yoruba will say that"Iya omo lomo baba omo e" .... The lady is pointing fingers at you... I advise you to man up and do the necessary thing... even if it is an abortion.... 12 weeks can still be successfully removed.

And what makes u think the lady pointing fingers cannot lie? undecided

the truth of the matter from your write up states clearly that the pregnancy wasn't yours, nov 28 to dec 24 is enough for the next cycle to begin. this is wat might have happened, when she stopped flow dec 2, her free period is till dec 10 and her fertile period starts from 12 -15 or dere about, ask her who mated with her around 12 to 16, dats the real owner, u met her wen she was safe i.e when the ruptured blood are gathering and set to b disposed

You're not ready to carry parental responsibility, and you're having sex without condom, even married couples have sex with condom just to prevent unnecessary pregnancy. Go and face your responsibility, 12weeks old baby have old o, na 3months old baby be that. Brace up and face the responsibility, it won't make you less of a man. If you're doubting the paternity, then go for DNA after delivery. Please take good care of the mother as she goes on this 9months journey. Don't be a deadbeat father. Congratulations in advance!! The seed you sowed is about to germinate wink smiley wink

By 24 December she should be expecting her monthly period and not ovulation since her last period was 28 November. Ask her who she slept with cos you are not responsible for the pregnancy.

I read quite well and i can't advice such, let her meet who impregnated her and have the baby, the baby may be her life later, for you to even say " abort' as a mother, like i said "una dey try" i no put water for mouth talk am..shikena

I don't remember giving any advise on any of my replies because he never asked for an advise regarding the pregnancy, his mind is obviously made up. He was only asking the success rate of an abortion at that stage which I answered (from a medical point of view) simple and short. I won't give an unsolicited advice to someone whose mind is already made up. The girl even took pills initially to terminate it and she obviously doesn't want it which is why he's asking for the success rate directly not even an advise if they should keep it or not.
ALL those that I personally know who have come to me for advise in cases like this all gave birth to the child.
If she comes here to ask for our own advise or opinion, I know what to tell her.
I still don't know what you meant by "una dey try". If you had expatiate more, it would have been helpful... Cheers

Sir my comment is not to support the lady's action but to condemn the Op negligence.... The lady might be lying.... But the Op could have come out as a winner if he used any form of protection....

if confirmed the baby is not yours kindly wash your hands off it. you shouldn't be thinking abortion or keeping a child that is not yours. just stay clear by letting her know about it.
