Nigerians are the funny and confused set of people on earth.

We have brilliant guys, judging by the comment up there. But will leave their problem to carry another country problem for head.

They made it 25kg so it would appear that it's big

Let's use the normal size which is 50kg. The 1,200 bags of 25kg will be 600 bags of 50kg rice.
600 bags for 1 state, that's for 600 families.
600 families times 36 states (plus Abuja) = 22,200 families to benefit out of millions of families.

The size should be the least of Ur concern rather. U should be asking if it will get to you or average Nigerias who needs it?

Phones / Re: Phone Engineers On Nairaland Willing To Assist You - Part II by princemillla(m): 7:45am On Jul 15
lilmaydee:

I bought it from a lady. All she said was wrong with the phone was that the battery was bad and the screen was spoilt. So I gave it to an engineer who replaced the battery and the screen. Afterwards the phone is asking for pass code upon restarting. So I called her to ask for the pass code and she said that she has forgotten it, because she hasn't used the phone for a long time. Also discovered that the charging port is faulty.
Is there a way you can help? Or I should just return it back to the engineer and resell the parts back to him.

My number is there

chidiokay:

Why are you avoiding looking into the root cause ?? if numbers of beggars are on the rise is that not a call to the government that they are failing
What have the govt done that is concrete to alleviate Nigerians out of poverty ? ordinary palliative that were given to share did it get to the people

Begging as not only increase on out street, it as increase online, among friends, in church and even within family sef .. everyday you wake up to one aunty or brother message for help .. should we respond with arrest

IF the country is good, begging will go unnoticed

The root cause their state government failed them not Lagos state.

A government with zero social program is criminalizing the less privileged.
Our government are simply impossible. The beggers will get food one way or the other, either nicely or forcibly. Unfortunately, the politicians making the law have extra security. It is us, the citizens that would bear the brunt of this stupid policy.

Let's ignore the fact that u don't have any point up here.

With the alarming numbers of people in Lagos state, how much do u think social packages will incure in Lagos state?

Allowing street beggers is so bad that some of this people u think are beggers are informant. If you don't know you don't know.

Check garages u will see large numbers of northerners who have complete body yet begging for alms.

Ogbeni. If yuoi must be in Lagos, you must be part of her progress not coming all the way from yr Village to add to the problem

I am seeking assistance in reporting a suspected case of electricity meter tampering and bypassing by my landlord to the relevant authorities at Eko Electricity Distribution Company. Despite having a meter installed, my landlord has illegally connected to the power grid, resulting in unauthorized access to electricity. I kindly request guidance on the proper channels to report this incident and request an investigation by the appropriate authorities.

Am not against you reporting tho but it will be shocking that the ones u want to report to may still come collect bribe and left.
