Congrats to you. if all transcript was bleep bleep, you would not have gotten transcripts here to prepare for your interview.... if you really want to help other Applicants pls do it right.. all the best.

Program: Computer Science (Msc)
COA: 42k
Funding: Graduate assistantship
Deficit: 37k

GOD IS THE GREATEST

VO: I see you are going to pursue a masters program in Computer science at bleep university
Me: Yes, that’s correct
Vo: What do you do for a living
Me: I work as an inventory data analyst at bleep company where i develop performance metrics and establish ad-hoc reporting to enhance department efficiency.
Vo: Alright, Why this university ?
Me: I chose this university because it offers students the opportunity to engage and participate in capstone projects of the school which students can leverage as graduate experience. Also, during an email conversation with Dr Bleep, the Graduate Program director, i was informed bleep university offers graduate internship programs just within the two years course of studies, the school has a strong collaboration with the industry which i believe would help me harness the advanced skills and theoretical knowledge of what is taught in class for practical applications in real life scenarios.
Vo: what is your plan after completing your program?
Me: I’ll be coming back to Nigeria to seek reabsorption in my present organization as they have an understanding with me and has given me a 2 years study leave, so i plan on returning to them with the skills i have acquired through this course to help develop innovative and cutting edge solutions that address challenges we face in the company…
Vo: Cuts in, who is sponsoring you?
Me: I have a graduate assistantship and will be sponsored by Bleep business, owned by my elder brother.
Vo: what does he do?
Me: He is an established business man who is into large scale farming in the south western part of the country, he also owns some landed properties and apartments in Bleep state some of which he rents out for residential and commercial purposes.
Vo: types for long.. I will be approving your visa. Bla bla bla
Me: (With a big smile). Thank you very much.

Key Points to Note: The interview lasted for 3 mins
1. Please pray and pray and pray. Honestly I would say God favored me during this interview process, because the Vo which was a white female actually denied two applicants, and i was trying to escape her so I can get interviewed by the white male but as God would have it, we were shifted and i was called by the female VO and God did his work
2. Please prepare and study and speak to an object or something you can focus on while answering your questions during your practice, this really helped me cos i have little difficulties with staring at people in the eyes while talking. I stared at her throughout the whole interview
3. Please be honest and speak the truth with what correlates in your ds-160 form.
4. Now, i feel i have to share this last one with y’all cos I know someone might need it in advance. If you are going to be using your sponsor’s business account for getting your I-20, please have your school make this known on your I-20 , it was just Yesterday that it got dawned on me that my I-20 was showing family funds instead of company funds as sponsor on my I-20, whereas I already filled my sponsor’s business name on my ds-160. Thankfully to God, my school changed the “family funds” to “company funds” on my I-20 and even indicated my sponsor’ business name and his personal name which is my elder brother on the remarks section. Trust me, this really matters if you are going to be using your sponsor’s company statement of account. Everything as to match with your ds-160. Even thankfully for me, I wasn’t asked for my brother’s company statement of account.
5. Thanks to everyone who has posted their transcripts, I really took plenty cues from them cos honestly it helped me prepare well, Good-luck to everyone waiting for their interview. Just be confident and PRAYYYYYYY.

Congratulations

Visa Approved: Aug 16, 2021 at Abuja Embassy
9am appointment First attempt

I give glory to God because he is the one that did it because I blabbed at some point but I was able to recover. The importance of being adequately prepared cannot also be over emphasized but it is God that blesses hard work.

I'll give some backstory and a bit of my profile.
I started the process early this year, took the GRE and TOEFL exam. I tried to schedule an appointment in Lagos since June, waited as long as I could and switched to Abuja, early July. Got an emergency appointment date in Abuja which was eventually canceled after I had arrived Abuja and even paid for a hotel which was maddening. I came back, and after sending several mails my appointment was scheduled for the 16th of August. I eventually contacted @nigpatriot a few days to my interview because I wanted to be as prepared as I could. While praying seriously as well. I think I gave equal time to prepping and praying.
I am a finance professional with over 3yrs experience and skill in auditing, accounting and finance. I have a degree in accounting and I am also a chartered accountant.
Age: 26
Program: M.Sc Computer Science
Funding: 8k
Deficit: 19k
I was interviewed by the white lady. She’s not trying to be funny or having any opinion or assuming things about you. I think she tries to give everyone a fair chance.
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning, ma’am.
VO: I see you are going for a master's program in computer science
Me: Yes, I am
VO: What do you do?
Me: I work as an auditor at this company where I analyze the company’s financials and provide recommendations to management to aid decision making. I also carry out inventory data analysis to monitor inventory movement... cuts in...
VO: What will this course do for you?
Me: I will come back to Nigeria to take up a role in financial consulting. (This was where I goofed or thought I goofed because I had a wholesome answer to this question but it ran away at that point even after a lot of practice probably because I was a bit nervous.) I tried to back up the answer with: in the long run, I intend to start up a financial consulting firm that will use technology to carry out financial services.
VO: Why this school?
Me: I chose this school because they offer courses in data analytics technology and artificial intelligence which i'm interested in learning and this technology is changing the face of my industry. (I used simpler terms like this is how we do it now.)
Also, this school awarded me a tuition waiver, I was about to say something else then she cuts in:
VO: Who is sponsoring you?
Me: My dad will be sponsoring me
VO: What does he do?
Me: He owns a business that is into the supply of construction materials to some of the top construction companies here in Nigeria. I mentioned the companies
Vo: Okay your visa is approved
she said something about countries to avoid and other things I didn't quite get.
Me: Thank you, ma’am.

I was elated and I’m still very much thankful to God. I will continue to tell everyone about his goodness.

Congratulations

VISA APPROVAL TESTIMONY
No Funding
No GRE
One admission in the US

On the 10th of June 2021 I was denied US visa at the Lagos embassy. I couldn’t say the exact reason why i was denied. This was my first attempt.
I was so frustrated and I left the embassy in pains.
When I got home I paid for another visa fee and started looking for date. I didn’t see date in Lagos so i moved my search to Abuja. I saw October 24th in Abuja, I picked it and applied for Expedited appointment, it was approved within 24 hours and I got a new date for 9th of August, 2021.
On the 8th of August I got to Abuja via Arik Airline and lodged at St. Matthias Hotel.
My interview date (9th of August) came and I went to the embassy. I was interviewed by a slim white lady with blonde hair.
See my transcript below :

V.O : you are going to **** for masters in computer science
Me : yes please with focus on Information security.
V.O : what do you do currently?
Me : I explained
V.O : what will you do after the degree?
Me : I explained
V.O : who’s your sponsor ?
Me : My Maternal uncle. He works as a Business project manager in New Jersey
(V.o cuts in )
V.O : but during your last interview you said Cousin
Me : (I was already shaking) I can’t remember maybe that was a misrepresentation but my sponsor is my mummy’s brother that’s my maternal uncle
V.O : typing….. she looked at me and said he lives and works in New Jersey
Me: Yes
AND THE VO GAVE ME WHITE PAPER…….
I bursted into joy ……God showed up for me. To say I was denied 2 months earlier. I’m grateful I didn’t give up.
This is to encourage everyone here to keep pushing and I want to advise that not everything you read online is correct information, if I asked people they will say don’t reapply immediately after first denial, some will say if you have family abroad don’t fill it on your Ds160. My elder sister is a US CITIZEN and I filled in her details and my sponsor lives in New Jersey.
Don’t listen to people, fill your ds160 truthfully.
God will always show up, he makes all things beautiful in his own time.
See you in America . To God Alone be all the glory .

Congratulations mate.
I tap into this grace.
People will also praise God on my behalf this year's fall in Jesus name amen.

Hello Guys,

Please I need clarification on an issue.

I was Denied Emergency application next week Saturday in Lagos. But I noticed that my emergency appointment request button was restored so I sharply cancelled my Lagos appointment and booked another appointment in Abuja with the same MRV. To my greatest suprise I was still able to request for another Emergency application but I realized that the reschedule button was removed.

So my concern right now is if what I have done is appropriate and should be hopefully or I should just proceed to pay for another visa fee and defer my admission to spring 2020?

I need your input guys.

Thank you.

Hello guys,

Please I got this response from the U.S visa service Desk after I applied for an emergency appointment at the Lagos consulate:

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for writing to the U.S. Visa Service Desk.

We understand that you would like to know the status of your emergency appointment request.

In response to your question, we would like to inform you that your request is still under review. You will receive an e-mail once your emergency appointment has been approved or denied.

For more information please visit our website:
https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-expeditedappointment.asp

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T3P3RXJ to share feedback on the services we provide.

Have a pleasant day!

Regards,
U.S. Visa Service Desk.

Then I tried to check for available dates to see if it has been approved and could only find dates in 2022. However, I haven't submitted my DS160 form and I realized that I have an option to change location before submitting the form.

My question now is if I change my interview location to Abuja will my EA (Emergency appointment request) still count for this new location or will my EA option link be restored as it has been removed after my first request?

I will be anticipating your response guys.

Thank you.

I used my uncle's business account for SOA with a sponsorship letter signed by him.

Only for me to receive my I-20 stating his company's name as my sponsor.

Now I am at a cross road as I don't know if I should put my uncle name's or his company's name as sponsor on the DS-160 form?

I tried using my master card but it wasn't going through (I guess it's because of that stupid federal government policy), alternatively I tried using Western Union money transfer and I was told I can only receive money.
