I promise to be very brief.
My wife and I live in a three bedroom flat without paying rent, although we only occupy one room since we don't have much property yet. The owner of the house abandoned the house before now and when we had accomodation issue asked us to stay there. We have been here since last year. However, there is no Geepee tank to supply water into the house. We could only pump water into our little drum when there is light. So I always go fetch water from the neighbouring compounds whenever there is no light which have resulted into several insults. My wife has been dragging me that I must buy a Geepee tank.

My salary as a private school teacher is barely enough to feed us talk more of saving to buy a Geepee tank especially in this economic crisis. In the midst of all these, my wife's phone went bad and needed a new one Just this afternoon, my wife started raining insults on me that I am not behaving like a man at all, that I should have settled down fully before thinking of marriage, that I want to make her go hungry. This was because I told her I would cut off some part of my salary to be saving so I can buy curtain for our room, television and save for Geepee tank. She even went ahead to say I am poor and wretched just because I can't afford her a new phone for now.

Since afternoon, I have refused to eat. My problem here is that my parents love my wife and my parents are far from where I reside. And I don't want to report my wife to my parents so it won't bring disrespect later to her in the future. Secondly, as the first born of my parent,I don't know how my parents will take it if I tell them I don't want to marry her again so they don't have b.p. I am really really confused. The little extra money I get from extra tutorial is what I do send to my two siblings in school even though is very little compare to their needs but at least it is something.

I feel like running away but to where? I truly love my wife but she is regretting marrying me. Please what can I do?

This winter seems unusual. Apart from that week in January that was too damn cold, it's been good. I even wore just sweater to church today. The grasses are green with no snow covering in Ontario

For genuine travellers ( and others), you need to prep for possible questions and ensure you have the right documentation. Entry into any country is at the discretion of their border police so to reduce/eliminate the risk of rejection, PREP!

I've seen people on here asking about getting a 4 month return flight booking on a '3 day conference travel purpose' and whilst I don't have the numbers on this, I can only believe that some of the harsher encounters people complain about is driven by historical abuse of the visas.

We need to push more accountability on fellow travellers especially around things we can control.

I think this is quite relative. The officer who checked me last Friday was black, and he looked at my passport so much so that my colleagues began to ask me if there was something hidden in the Nigerian passport which the guy wanted to find.
I think the POE experience one gets depends on the mood/instincts of the officer he/she runs into.
My next entry will be from Montreal, I hope I meet a jolly good fellow.

If only someone can write on about the corruption in voya office, the rate of rejection is so much for those applying for visa in that office and ridiculous amount of fees yet no explanation of why your application was not approved.. "this is because it was not properly evaluated" you may reapply after six months.. $255+13,000 courier fee gone

Only those i could say lucky were approved (good solid travel history uk, us, schengen)

Well if you don't have good solid travel history on your passport don't bother wasting your money and time instead apply for UK/France you stand better chance than Turkey for now.

NB: this post is for tourist visa.. Students have more chance of approval

Same thing happened to me in October this year. I lost everything. I latter sold my car , borrowed money to buy a Nigerian used bus for transportation, but I didn't know the engine mounting were bad , so on my way to Iyano era to fix seats on the bus, the engine and gear fell off. After spending all I had, the bus is still yet not in good condition and I can't use it for business. Worst thing is I will start the loan repayment early next year , in two weeks time. Suicide thought is going through my mind. I hate insult and I can't bear insults and disgrace that would follow if I can't put this bus in order and use it to generate income to pay those that lent me money.

90-130km/hr at night on a free road isn't too much.. As long as your car has good handling, you're good! Don't forget some crashed going 60-80km/hr. Just hope you always return home every day!
