I never wanted to open a thread about this but after reading the thread of two young guys duping someone of 10k, I have to tell fellow nl my own experience.
Last year, a monikerwww.nairaland.com/qutemichelle created a thread about baby diaper importers . I contacted her, we discussed and I involved my brother who's the importer. We travelled from the East to Lagos to meet this girl. The way she sounded, she convinced me that she knows the business and she has been into it.
I don't want to go into details about the discussion of the business but with trust my brother gave him goods of about 1million naira to test her, she paid almost half after some time and requested for two million naira goods, we supplied her , from there story started. Every week, she say one story or the other. With pressure from me, she had balance of about 500k and she switched off of her phones since September till now.
Her name is Ifeyinwa Okafor, she's from Imo State, married to An Anambra man of nnewi extraction. When the going was going well, she mistakenly gave me her address , which is 36 shaki crescent, surulere lagos. If you go to her page, you can get her phone number.

No Law in Nigeria provides for this scenario,. Its a Lacuna in our Constitution and Electoral Act , therefore whatever anybody is saying on this scenario is just an expression of his or her personal OPINION.

The law already provided for this scenario in the electoral law concerning death of "a candidate".
Remember Audu is still a candidate.
Even if it was the PPA guy that died before the declaration of the result, a fresh election will be conducted. It's as simple as ABCD.

You are sounding sentimental. In law, there is no sentiment. As at today, he was a candidate. That's finished. Another candidate can't stand on another candidate votes. Electoral act is very explicit on the death of candidates .

You guys are missing up something. The electoral act says something about the death of a candidate standing for election. It states that the election will be suspended , the party involved will conduct fresh primaries to choose another candidate. Now, a new candidate can't start from where audu stopped. There will be a total fresh election in kogi state.

Yes. He has not won already. It's inconclusive. A dead man can't go into an election. Go and check your electoral act . If a candidate dies after the deadline for submission of the candidate for an election, they election will be suspended till the party provides a replacement.

This election will be cancelled. A dead man can't go into supplementary election. The constitution is very clear in this case. The election will be suspended till the party choose another candidate, who will go into a fresh election.

A fresh primaries to replace him by the party will be conducted. The election will be suspended for the primary election. A fresh candidate will be presented, who will go for fresh election.
