CrimeRe: Is It A Crime To Travel With ATM Cards? by 001ng(op): 8:48pm On Oct 25, 2015
bigtt76:
Choi .....how can one person travel with one hundred ATM cards and expect NDLEA or Customs to start applauding you? Especially not bearing the carrier's name (even bearing your name sef).

I understand the need to use same to withdraw abroad more than the daily $300 but then it could belong to unsuspecting Bank account owners whose accounts are being drawn illegally.
Those cards belong to them and their friends including families who can be trusted.
Why is NDLEA parading them as if they are convicted criminals?
What law incriminate the act of traveling with multiple cards?

What is the way out for businesses that can't access fx if you are stopping every avenue for them to source fx for their legitimate business?

Please I need to be enlighten if I'm missing something.
CrimeIs It A Crime To Travel With ATM Cards? by 001ng(op): 7:53pm On Oct 25, 2015
Following the CBN forex restrictions , many businesses couldn't find a means to meet up with fx funding for their businesses, so ATM cards were substitute and it became the only way to access dollar abroad.
So many people use friends and families accounts for the atm withdrawal abroad.

Why the arrest and open trial in the media by NDLEA ?

Is it a crime to travel with cards even though the owners are aware of the cards?

Why is ndlea making big fuss about it?

Ujoatu, you didn't mention that he is an in law to my brother Owelle Rochas Anayochukwu Ethelberth Okorocha, His son is married to Rochas second daughter.
I'm a progressive but what is happening in Imo State is painful.
Uche Nwosu, Gerald Okorocha, Geraldine Okorocha, Okey Okorocha, Ik Okorocha, Ogechi Okorocha etc have killed my beloved imo state and Ideato nation in conjunction with Pascal Obi, Emeka Duru, ikechukwu Amuka .
It will take imo state at least 20 years to recover from the bad governance of impoverishment and hand out government.
May God help us.

No empire has ever lasted.

Rochas be warned!
FamilyRe: Who Inherits The Deceased Mother's Property In Igbo Family. by 001ng: 8:03am On Oct 13, 2015

Fellow nairalanders, i am greatful for your contributions especially Durinsday and 001ng who have given it in full details. The informations i got here together with the ones i got from my closer associates confirms that i have a traditional and judicial right over my mum's shop.

But, one funny thing here is that my elder brother, the first son, seems to be desiring to own the shop because he deemed me too weak to stand for my right. He even said he will forcefuly obtain the documents of the shop from my sister and keep it for himself.

Now, i have decided to go to this my elder brother and boldly ask him to accompany me to my sister's house, for her to offer me the shop's document. If any of them fail me in this, i will immedietly prepare a law-suit. Perhaps that will be the best way to solve it amicably. I do not want to go to those dubious easily corrupted villagers who called themselves umunna!
My brother, you must be in good terms with your umunna. It's necessary, it's not an option. They will stand by you if your sister refused to let go. They will melt out punishment to her if she disagree.

You have to locate your dad immediate brothers and liaise with them if you are comfortable with them. But firstly you must start within your family , if she doesn't want to release them to you, then you can involve your mom siblings, she is hard, you can involve your dad siblings, if she is still hard then umunna will come in.
God help you.

Are you the youngest son?
I answered that question in my comment.

Lemme answer again, yes, I'm the last son.
FamilyRe: Who Inherits The Deceased Mother's Property In Igbo Family. by 001ng: 4:49pm On Oct 12, 2015
In Ideato to where I come from, the first son owns the compound where the father lived before joining the ancestors. Other lands and properties are shared between his male children, where the first son will take the best land and his brothers will take accordingly.
Now when it comes to the mother. In the original igbo setting, husband gives his wives land to farm while he was alive and he built house for his wives too. When she dies, the first daughter has exclusive rights over the jewellery, clothes and other little things except the house and land given to the mother by the father.
This land is an exclusive right of the last son. He shares it with no body. But in the case that the woman is very wealthy, the last son is expected to give something to his siblings.
But in my culture, it's assumed that the woman is weak and the last son is weak too, so, to help the weak last son, you give him exclusive right to the mother properties.

My own mother is still alive but she has transferred all her properties to my name and even the ones dad gave her too is my name now.

FamilyRe: Can My Step Mother Really Be Responsible For My Borhter's Joblessness? by 001ng: 4:27pm On Oct 12, 2015
Adding salt to the injury.

This is another problem you are creating for your bro apart from the joblessness. This will inhibit his mind from working hard cos he believes someone is holding him down spiritually.

Must he work by the way?

Can't he learn a trade or skill?

That's another problem on its own if you believe that you went to school to secure a job after graduation. Come to Aba and see phone mechanics making at least 15k daily without much hassles.

Plz stop thinking that way and don't allow your brother to think the same or his problem will become worst.

After watching the clip of Ahmed Bello on northernization policy and other clips from other northern leaders pre Nigerian civil war, I came to realize that we are actually sitting on a long thing.

I'm a pro Nigerian but truthfully we are not one nation and comments from nairaland confirms it and I don't see the nation of ziks dreams. I only see a nation of regional leaders like awolowo and saudana .

God help Nigeria!!!

He talked after election. Read bf commenting. He swear on affidavit immediately after the election that he didn't sign the form E.
I can remember this man saying it loud and clear that he didn't declare the results.

In all fairness, APGA won almost all the election in Abia State.

Their might be technical hitches, but he never abandoned it.
These are men who put people in power.Chief was instrumental to ohakim becoming Governor of Imo state in 2007.When he under performed, chief was angry, and told him point blank, that he won't go second tenure.
How do i know?,my cousin knows chief inside out.
So what am saying is that,he is not 'just a contractor'.There may be technical hitches here and there.he will deliver. The road they did in my community, including an over 1.5meter bridge, took over 5-6years,but he delivered a quality job.
Chief Tony Chukwu.
