It is not funny at all.
Many men are dying silently insults and embarrassments their gfs or wives are giving them.
Unfortunately, most things a man needs to be called a man are external and not internal.
So many external factors have align with his own internal factors (brilliance, up and doing, hardworking, handsome etc) for him to perform at his best.
Even if you study hard and come out as the best in your department or school, it is still not a guarantee that you will be financially stable or live a decent life to raise a good family.
The jobs may not just come after submitting many cvs, going to prayer mountains and fasting with night vigils.
Even if you get the job, most are underpaid that will only keep you afloat enough for the next paycheck. You can be the best footballer in your street and school yet nature didn't just align for you to get a good agent to pick and connect you to clubs abroad.
You may have good voice and musics to produce but things won't just fall in place.
To make it worse, the decision of others far off like president far off in Abuja will have ripple effect on your life and decision making.
They may devalue the money in your hand right from Abuja without consulting you thereby making the bread you bought yesterday for #1,000 to become #1,300, transport to work from 300 to 450 thereby making you poorer and struggling more for things you don't know about.

Sadly, there is little to none we can do about it.
There are thousands if not millions of able bodied men - okada riders, vulcanizerz, road side mechanics, unemployed, underemployed, bricklayers etc who are literarily cut off from the sexual market.
It is either they struggling to tame down a woman for a decent relationship or outrightly stranded without a woman and it is this category of men who will take any insult just to have a woman at home to be having sex with.
