Even those female ancestors, many regretted marrying poor men or men within their class. It was just that hypergamy was put in check during their time with religion and tradition. Now, those institutions are failing.
In one hot argument with my dad, my mum vowed never to allow her daughter marry a teacher or civil servant due to what she passed through suffering with my dad.
My mother-in-law also once said if she was as clever and wiser then like now, she wouldn't have married my father-in-law because then, better men with good jobs and career wanted her but she was naive and followed LOVE.

i am not an atheist but I hate this Nigerian mentality of equating everything to God without giving steps and strategies they adopted in achieving success or a major breakthrough in life.

Ask a Nigerian inventor or business man the secrete to his success, he would just say, "it is God".

I am glad you mentioned this as well. I was one of those Nairalanders who criticised Nigerian married men for cheating on their wives. But after seeing the cognitive dissonance by so-called women in coming to terms with hypergamy and the result of stiffer competition for scarce economic resources for young men, I understood the reason why our men "explore" (I don't call it cheating as he is exploring the same options women have had since the age of 15. This was the same woman who was lovey-dovey when the going was good. Suddenly, everything changed. Another factor that changed my stance is learning that women DON'T like frequent sex, especially after childbearing. Nymphos are the exception. _{How many nymphs even dey Nigeria sef?} Meanwhile, testosterone does not care about this. We have women ARROGANTLY asking "if sex is food?". But they would not stay with the man if he fails to provide or outrightly disrespect the man if they decide to remain.

Sometimes, I sympathise with much older men who japa'd in their words "for the children". Working odd hours while being deprived of sex all in the name of providing for the family. It is another reason I advocate for as few children as possible. Men have to realise that the world where they are seen as protectors has passed. That gratitude isn't there any longer.

In my books, any man who has provided well enough as his hand can carry for his family should explore his options with as many women as he can handle. It is his right. Provided no disease, extra children (depending on cultural norms) are brought home. Many married men out there are starved of sex. Funny enough, the same modern women loathe sex workers when they are married, but outrightly deny their husbands sex. I haven't even mentioned that black men are the biggest sufferers of prostrate sex and frequent sex has been identified as one of the preventive factors.

It cannot be me sha. I cannot beg for sex. I will buy it outrightly.


Hypergamy exists across economic levels. Women are hypergamous. Good luck to men who believe otherwise. Testosterone is a hormone, not a mo.ron.

My experience with ladies is that they are motivated by their feelings, and if they find a guy attractive, then they want to be with him and hope he reciprocates.

If he love her more and treat her like jesus, he might end up in the friend zone and exploited when convenienen thats if she doesn't find him attractive.

In a world where lots of women use the men in their DM as proof of their worthiness, seeing relationship and men as disposable because another man is one DM away, it's better if women loves more because they are more fickle and breaks relationship more than men.

I won't waste your time, I am going to give you a short list of why Kamala Harris Lost to Donald Trump.

1.) Americans are not ready to allow a woman lead them as President. In as much as they champion gender equality, they understand the dangers of electing a woman, a black or mixed raced as the POTUS. The current generation of Americans now are not ready for that risk.



2.) Americans don't joke with Israel's security. Whoever told Kamala Harris to criticize Israel, publicly condemning Israel defense of her homeland from Moslem terrorists attacks was wrong. She should have kept her mouth shut.


3.) In as much as Americans support freedom, equality and liberalism, the way Kamala Harris supports LGBT, Abortion, genderless madness and other anti Christian wokeism practices became worrisome to so many real Americans not the fake Americans wannabes.


4.) Most Americans are tired of Ukraine Russian war and they believe Trump can put an end to the war and save the world from a possible 3rd world war or nuclear battle. The Americans of today love fun and enjoyment more than anything and not ready to go to any war like Americans of the 1940s to 1990s


5.) Islamic Terrorists Madness in MiddleEast and the rising popularity of Iran. Americans believe only Trump can put a stop to Iran's madness in the MiddleEast.


6.) Migrant Influx. Many White Americans are tired of migrants trooping into their country. They believe if this is not checked, America will lose its glory in no distant time so they want a President that can be bold enough to stop or slow down migration to a great extent.


And Kamala Harris has been in support of allowing migrants in while Trump is against undocumented migrants coming into the US, especially those from Moslem countries, Africa, Haiti, Colombia and Mexico.
