they are non-poisonous and stunning.

dominique: ^^^ thats exactly what went thru my mind while reading the article. upon all the gazillion snakes in Brazilian swamps and jungles, he still wanted to smuggle more into the country. methinks he had more sinister intentions (snakes on a plane comes to mind).

Can you see the difference?! These snakes are not venomous.. All the snakes he had on him were not venomous so which means he was into breeding.

Wondering wether he couldnt go into the Amazon and catch as many as he wants would be like asking why we dont go and buy Ekuke Nkita off the street, yet everyday, 100's of Dogs of different breeds are imported into Nigeria from all over the world....

You have a valid point which I stated earlier.. However, I am only dispelling the 'sinister motive' idea..

People would definitely freak out if those snakes had gone loose on the plane but he had no evil motive.

The point of the arrest was not on how evil or angelic his motive was.

A child could be on that plane. That child would have been a snake's meal.
