DarkPheonix: And who told you I’m not focusing on my life. Why should I be bitter? Because I’m not studying medicine? There’s more to life than medicine and surgery. The founder of this thread is not practicing hope you know that and I know many that have left practice and gone into something else. To me medicine should be for spiritual people that really value the lives of humans with the fear of God. A doctor should be humble, attentive, not hedonistic, not materialistic, not given to lust, honest and not fraudulent. A doctor should be a father or mother to the fatherless or motherless, must be empathetic, must be able to control anger and utterances. How many of you are these? Mstcheew I want to save lives, I want to save lives if they see the life now to save they will be behaving lackadaisically. Abeg o 3 Likes |

RenegadeX:Lol. Una funny sha. Bros, tell us the truth, you couldn't get medicine. Majority of the people who sound pained everytime they hear "medicine" are usually those who tried but couldn't get in. My guy, I believe you've been to all the hospitals in Nigeria and you know how all doctors behave there. There's no profession that there are no lackadaisical people, they're everywhere, especially government jobs, it takes discipline and the fear of God to do a govt job diligently, so I wonder why you're just narrowing it down to doctors only. There must always be the bad eggs in everything, doesn't make the whole thing bad. Have you asked yourself if the young man is part of those "called to do medicine" as you've claimed? 9 Likes |

Ruggedfighter:Haha they have come again. You couldn’t get medicine that is why you are bitter . Sorry bro not me. In fact if any of you decide to give me your admission free of charge. I will blatantly refuse it. The lifestyle I envision myself medicine can not give me whether home or abroad so spare me your sermon please. Mr man people evolve as they get older, you may so much like something or someone this year and next year you hate it with every fiber of your being. The 18 year old that was so passionate about studying medicine in 100 level or 200 level may decide at 24 in 600 level that he just wants to finish get the cert and go into entrepreneurship. If unilag comes to give me medicine and surgery free of charge oga I won’t accept and I thank God for saving me from getting into what will bring gloom to my life. medicine and surgery yenyenyen you must be a 100 level or 200 level student so body never tell you. Don’t worry come back here after 7 years let’s continue the conversation |

RenegadeX:Mr man, You don't want medicine, then shut the hole on your face and focus on your life. Didn't you see the name of the thread?. What brought you here? Abi you miss road?. You don't want medicine but you're sneaking into a thread that is solely for medical students and aspirants, what's your problem?. You're not any body's father here and you have no right to advise anyone except the person seeks your advise. Stop being a low life and grow up, some of you are so sensèless that you think everyone will have the same school of thought as you. You're a sadist and a pained person, it's obvious from the way you're sounding. I hope the path you decided to choose is treating you fairly, if it is, move on silently, no one will question you why you chose whatever path you decided to choose. Move on mannnn. 7 Likes |

RenegadeX:It's high time a lotta you started getting shut as soon as you speak. You think you can just come here and start saying nonsense?. I'm ready to drag you, you scumbag and I won't apologize for doing that. You guys need to be put in the hole you belong. That was how someone like you also was saying trash here some time ago. You don't like something, leave it for those who like it, it isn't by force. "Your rant here is the bla bla bla", like you know anything about me. Once again, stop being bitter, a lowlife and an hater and get your miserable self off the thread. If you quote me again, I'll quote you and tell you what you need to hear. I'm personally ready to pick up your case here, nonsense. 5 Likes |

RenegadeX:It's funny how for some strange reasons best known to you, you decided to charge in here like a mad bull. It's important for you to realise you weren't the first on the scene and wouldn't be the last to; many like you have come and gone. You see, life is inherently stressful, why torment yourself further by choosing a pointless endeavour that further belittles you and passes you off as an individual bereft of decorum and self-respect? I am intrigued really. My advice for you, life is not a rehearsal for another. It is this one life and it is going by very fast, face your life and face it squarely, "leave matter for Matthias", especially in matters where you are the least qualified to offer an informed opinion. 8 Likes |

Good day house. Do you think it's necessary writing the WASSCE PRIVATE EXAM, having gained admission to study medicine with my NECO RESULT? As it is now I have just NECO result and none for WASSCE. So if that'll affect me someday I was pondering sitting for the WAEC GCE - probably if I were to be offered employment abroad in any country then would my NECO certificate be eligible? |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by HeliumStar: 8:35pm On Mar 20, 2023 |
Tyg3rFvry: Just read this properly, MODIFIED It'll be advisable for you to take the WASSCE. Opportunities abroad require well recognised certificates and to be sincere, WAEC is more recognised internationally compared to NECO. And even for the local environment, some employers would require a certificate from WAEC. Although not exactly the same, I myself did only NECO in JSS3 but had to go back and enroll for junior WAEC when my research pointed to me that the WAEC certificate has more weight in the grand scheme of things. 3 Likes |
