I remember visiting this thread when it was at page 97 around 2013 in SS2. I wrote my first JAMB 2014 in SS3 but didn't get the cut-off for medicine. Took another one in 2015, got medicine in BUK. Fast forward to today... I'm now a doctor waiting for the portal to open to start my house job. Dream, plan, work hard, and believe in yourself that it's possible.

It’s 2024

The fact that MBBs is still a big deal makes me laugh

Like candidates still kill for this MBBs of a thing in 2024?

When tech and ground breaking innovation is the in thing now…

Lord show enlightenment to your kids
Overrated Tech..... it's not like you begin to rake in cash once you begin. Those that make money from Tech are experts. I am a mobile app developer myself. Nothing beats Medics, you can make your money anytime any day even at close of work, so far you are a qualified medical doctor.
Besides, Medicine is more of passion for humanity than for making money. Many are aspiring for it because of the passion

Many are aspiring for it because their parents wanted them to become doctors.

Their parents wanted them to become medical doctors because it seemed like a sure ticket out of poverty.

Stop dey cap.

Hello. They is no less competitive federal university at all cost, all are termed extremely competitive on especially trying to get a slot in medical school because more people are craving for it considering the route you want to follow and so many factors at at hand too, unless you want enrol at state institution where they don`t join this so called federal unverity on strike because it affaires is runned and managed by the state government But try this institutions FUNAI, FUTMINNA, Bayelsa medical University otuoke, University of Gusau(Zamfara State) FUTO. I trust you find this helpful.

What's the cutoff of UnimAID and University of Gusau?[/quote Cut off varies yearly ranging from school cut offs to departmental which is precisely the apogee. I can`t really tell extensively the cut off mark of the aformentioned tertiary institution. Students from the above mentioned institution here on this forum can do justice to that and as well try surfing the internet, making enquiries too from goggle and significantly if you are on facebook; seach the names of this aforementioned institutions and add them then you can post your question on their platform and i believe someone will respond positively to your questions.

What about medical laboratory science in futa

Hello,

Last year's merit cut off was 78.15 though cut off marks for catchment areas and ELDS are quite lower. Note that FUTA does not release cut off marks to the general public, but there is still a way we get the cut off marks.

FUTA uses screening (O'level result and UTME score) for her admission modalities. The last time Post UTME exam was conducted was in 2022.

FUTA place more emphasis on UTME than on O'level result as the UTME to O'level result ratio used last year was 75:25. So put in more efforts in getting a very high score in UTME. Having many A's will be an added advantage.
