Lai Mohammed whoever his name is as silly as Tinubu that has put me in perpetual traffic jam, hitting about 17 million a day for toll along lekki Epe express-way and Mr Lai Lai has not criticised that one. When Tinubu was collecting 5 billion naira monthly on consultancy on the same road, Mr lai lai never talked about it. Come to think of it, What has Mr Fashola has done in Lagos? Planting of flowers or what? Forced me to pay more than 12k a month for the little salary I was receiving when the so-called big guns, chinese, indians etc working freely.

Who was comparing Akpabio to Fashola? Fashola came to meet with a state with good infrastructures while Akwa Ibom had decaying and non existing infrastructures. Akpabio had to stooped down and remake the whole of the states and come and see Akwa Ibom whilst Lagos governed by ACN has been held in tight Tinubuish way to the glory of Mr Lai Lai.

He has not started, he will continue and I bet if ACN is better than PDP, they are bird of the same feather just looking for cheap political points to score, nonsense and arrant rubbish.

The ACN Supports hear this, go to hell and burn into ashes for I dont care if your goat is gored

GEJ IS NOT JUST A TRAINEE PRESIDENT.....I PERSONALLY THINK HE IS A BABY PRESIDENT OR RATHER A TODDLER PRESIDENT. NIGERIA HAS GONE PAST HIS KIND OF PRESIDENCY.....AND I DO KNOW HE HAS REDUCED THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENCY TO A CHILDS PLAY. WE SIMPLY DESERVE SOMETHING BETTER THAN GEJ AS A PRESIDENT. THOSE WHO ARE SAYING HE IS DOING HIS BEST ARE THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE PERSONAL STANDARDS AND ARE JUST TALKING OUT OF SENTIMENT.

Blair, who called for support for Jonathan, praised his efforts to reform the country, which he observed was a difficult but necessary thing to do.

Citing the case of the deregulation of the downstream sector of the petroleum industry and other critical areas, he said this was a moment of opportunity and therefore, Jonathan must have the courage to proceed with the planned economic reforms even though this would cause anxiety among Nigerians.

He said with what was going on in Nigeria, the country was on its way up, and that also meant that Africa was on its way up.

According to Blair, “This forum is to send out a clear message to the world that Nigeria is on the way up. So, to the international investors, come, see, and be part of the success story.

“I know it is tough and it is hard. One of the things I learned since leaving office is that it is not easy to get the advice and take the decisions.

“My plea is to stick with it, support the president and the ministers making these changes. My plea to Nigerians is: don't be deterred by the voices that say they are representing the majority of the public, but often are actually representing the minority or vested interests.”

THE ABOVE QUOTES WERE FROM FORMER BRITISH PRIME MINISTER TONY BLAIR AT AFRICA BIZ ROUNDTABLE IN NEWYORK THIS WEEK. HE IS A NEUTRAL OBSERVER OF NIGERIA. HE CONFIRMS THAT NIGERIA IS ON ITS WAY UP UNDER JONATHAN. I BELIEVE HIM INSTEAD OF BELIEVING A BIASED AND NEVER SEE WELL AND NEVER DO WELL ACN.

Blair is an assshole. The Liar of a leader sucked bush's cocsk and followed him to Iraq to seek for WMD they knew never existed. These selfish lots are only interested in their country and theirs alone. They dont have good intentions for others. Following his advise and claiming he knows more whats is good for Nigerians better than Nigerians themselves to me will be foolishness

I think it is now fairly obvious that ACN is nothing but A.C.T= Action Congress of Tinubu because no Organisation that has the interest of Nigeria at heart will make this kind of rash, spontaneous and childish statement. Far from being a trainee President, GEJ is a tailor-made President, by God's design and the overwhelming mandate conferred on him by a vast majority of right-thinking Nigerians. GEJ, through his experiences, circumstances of his gradual rise from a very humble background to the Nation's top job is eminently qualified to lead Nigeria on the path of genuine transformation and development.
Firstly, GEJ's Presidency addresses the "JUSTICE" question in Nigeria's Political firmament as it was absurd that the South-South region that had been the mainstay of the Nation's economy for the preceding 50 years before his emergence as President in 2010 had not had a shot at the Nation's Presidency.
In addition, only for the 2nd time in our National life and history, we had the luxury of a graduate as President; the first being the brief tenure of the late President Musa Yar'Adua. GEJ took it yet a step further by being the 1st PhD holder to assume the reins of power.
In his brief spell thus far, the Country has witnessed steady growth with milestones in Power, Education, Infrastructure, and Human Capital Development.
The Country's landscape is dotted with developmental projects and it is highly commendable how well he has done in this brief spell thus far. Clearly, Nigeria and Nigerians are experiencing Fresh Air and we don't want it to end anytime soon. Ride on GEJ,

I just smile when I see write ups like this, the opposition is meant to be on the President's case, they are meant to criticize him all through his tenure, the PDP and other parties should do the same in the SW, it will keep the leaders on their toes and they will know that they should not take the people for granted, there is a difference between criticism and lies, as long as what the opposition says is the truth, then they should carry go. I do not outsource my problems to God, God did not design to give me a weakling as President, he either performs or gets out.

I know you as a GEJ supporter but I did not know that you can not process information properly, what in my statement can you classify as whining, infact, it is the people who shout that GEJ is criticized that are whining, for goodness sake Obama is more criticized and he continues with his work, it is the job of the opposition to do this, do you expect them to praise him? I also do not know where cowardice comment came from, I guess you need to chill out.

Biggyd2:
According to the ACN, the closure of the Lokoja-Abuja highway which has cut off Abuja, the federal capital city due to flooding of roads and bridges on the Abuja-Lokoja highway, signposts the extent of the country’s decayed national infrastructure and exposes the incapable hands entrusted to salvage them.

However, even worse is the fact that the president has not deemed it fit to comment on this disaster, neither has there been any visit by a federal minister or any co-ordinated response to the disaster from the central government, the ACN statement said.

Did the Oyo state governor, Ajimobi not abandon his state when Ogunpa river flooded in Ibadan
He left for London to watch Olympics where Nigeria had no medals and after the London training for Oyo legislators' wives.
Thereafter he accompanied his Ashiwaju to the US for the Democratic Convention among other activities. Meanwhile the Republican governor of Louisiana skiiped his party's convention to nominate Mitt Romney, their presidential candidate so as to monitor hurrican Isaac.

Which party has been giving constructive criticism?

why is this particular president so obsessed with insult, were the previous president getting pat on the back or perhaps because they were abokis its okay to wallop them left right and centre?

And they expect their own govt to be respected? When statesmen throw diplomacy into d wind and talk loosely like careless touts is not ethical.

This shld be abt difference in ideologies and not jst anybody talking anyhow cos words are free. NLs are free to talk anyhow, not a stakeholder who expect right thinking ppl to vote for him.
I'm sorry but whoever talks in this manner is not fit to lead me.

A minus for d beloved ACN.

There he is(1st on the left) in the photo of Tinubu's book launch before the convention after junketting to London and while Ogunpa was flooding.

What a way to spend Oyo tax payer's money and time as well as the federal allocation collected monthly on their behalf.

From left : Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Mr. Brian Browne and Mr. Howard Jetter at the book launch on Saturday.

IT was meant to be a presentation of the book jointly written by Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) National Leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Brian Browne, in Chicago, the United States (US), but it became a forum where suggestions were offered on how to get Nigeria’s economy out of the woods.

Literary icon Prof Wole Soyinka, who wrote the forward to the book, entitled: “Financialism - Water from an Empty Well”, and co-author – Tinubu, warned of the consequences of leaving the dwindling economy in the hands of have-baked and inexperienced managers to fix.

At the Rainbow Push Headquarters in Chicago, venues of the presentation on Saturday were: civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson Jnr, Brian Borwne, a former US Consul General to Nigeria, Nigerians professional resident in Chicago and other parts of the US, former American diplomats, and civil rights leaders.

The audience included: Governors Rauf Aregbesola (Osun), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Nigerian lawmakers, council chairmen and youths.

Am curious though, could you intimidate me plz of d Engineering work that would protect road infrastructure along d path of two major rivers whose depth have risen to bw 10-15m which is d worst levels in a 100 yrs? U could also plz tell me after you would have finished describing this infrastructure miracle, how GEJ would have possibly built it under 2 yrs along d entire length of Niger, Benue and other major rivers in d country? You cud also go ahead and tell why many of d 'advanced' countries in d world- Britain, US, China, Japan, Australia etc- experience worst floods(including flooded roads) this yr, some even as recent as ysterday- are they not aware of this 'infrastructure' of yours? I will be waiting 4 dis wonderful exposition of yours.

2nd, who told you d FG have not been responding to d disaster? Did you read d comment that you are responding to? Who have been providing meteorological info on dis disaster to the public and state govts since last month and subsequently deploying d emergency agencies? Some of you guys would not have any clue about what is going on but just come into a discussion and start spitting rubbish.....

The only point that i agree with is that all d various responses going on now(from NEMA, SEMAs and various NGOs) should NOW be consolidated and Coordinated in one national 'office'/effort, perhaps d army called out and d President should return home to lead d process(doing everything to help d victims should be the uttermost sentiment in d minds of all of us instead of trying to play politics with their sufferings)
Shallow minds are bereft of possibilities.
