Why would 5 sane boys be found in a suspicious place surrounded by suspicious appliances in a community that has been ravaged and is still licking its wound from incessant robbery attacks?

Too many angry and aggressive people in Nigeria.. I'm sure the people who suggested the idea of burning down those boys were cannibal in disguise i am more afraid of Nigerian now! Nigerian are has bad as their leader no wonder why evil/crime/corruption and human inhumanity to man are the order of the day. Sorry this is inhuman behaviour and i dont support cannibalism . Why would you barbecue your fellow human? mmmm some people will eat their fellow men alive if given the chance. if you can afford 3 square meals think of those who cant afford and those who have to struggle to meet a single meal everyday. This news has just spoilt my day....starting from those stupid 'Elders' who passed the guilty verdict without any Real trials whatsoever and then those heartless people who carried out the 'verdict' and killed those boys without been copletely certain of their guilt, should be arrested and charged for MURDER.

And no body here should tell anything bout 'Arm Robbery' this and that- no one is SURE that all of them committed the 'crime' for which they have been Murdered( for God's sakes, there is a reason why PROVE BEYOND ALL REASONABLE DOUBT is a requirement before even properly constituted courts would sentenced a convicted criminal to death). Moreover, who knows the next victim of an uncouth frustrated bunch of illiterates who decides to take matters into thier hands- perhaps any of you supporting this travesty or maybe members of your family and friends?

This is the height of BARBARISM. The people who this this are no different from Terrorists- since they too in carrying out their atrocities also pass judgements on select people and execute those 'judgements' themselves( who of course are not given any opportunity, talkless of a fair one, to defend themseves).

Death without the benefit of a trial...jeeze. I thought this barbaric practice was gradually dying down in Nigeria. I fail to see how any normal human will set a fellow human on fire. Most of the time, it's mob rule - one person claims to have been robbed, chases the alleged perpetrator. Others join in the chase, without actually knowing why.

It's not uncommon to see a lynch mob kill their victim, and when later asked why, they'll say the dead person was being chased, so they joined in. Sad, brutal and very much uncalled for. The Criminal Justice system exists for a reason, it's just unfortunate a lot of these guys in Nigeria fail to realise this, until it's way too late.

This is pure evil.

Jungle justice is bad, innocent people can be trapped or set up. Even if they were caught stealing, did they kill anyone?

There is more to this jungle justice, and the police should investigate it. Even in Nigeria law, cultism or possession of fire arm do not carry death sentence. The killers of these boys should be arrested, and they should tell Nigeria what offense these boys were guilty of.

So people can just gang kill or mob a fellow human being to death out of envy and term it jungle justice. People reason well, this is bad.
