I nominate Odumchi.

He's the first person that comes to my mind when I think of a united, peaceful igbo online community. A community where non-igbos can freely interact with without fear but yet would be swiftly put in their place when the handshake exceeds the elbow.

We want an igbo online community that are proud to showcase their identity and culture and at same time respect our neighbours cultures even when it appears meaningless.

We want a leader that will talk less but act more maka n'ife Nwoke ga-eme di ya n'obi.

Odumchi remains my number 1 nomination. Can I nominate more than ofu Onye?

My brother, your apology is accepted. I think the Election Tribunal members should not nominate to avoid conflict of interest.

@Those nominating PointB, thanks for the confidence, but I am already the electoral commissioner, hence not eligible.

OnlyTruth is does not also need nomination, he is already pre-qualified by the virtue of incumbency.

@Odunnu,
The Lolo idea sounds very romantic. We could try it sometime as soon as we are able to work out the modality, roles and responsibility. Perhaps, during the inauguration in culture section the elected may opt to choose a Lolo from the list of eligibles. But for now let's focus on nominating two people each for Eze.

u've got no such powers to disqualify a nominee. As for ur nominee, i'm stil going thru the guidlines to ensure that u're qualified to nominate. If ur previous posts is anything to go by, then u dont stand a chance to make a nomination.
I'll allow my fellow tribunal members and our electoral officer to look into ur ability to participate.

Despite the fact that you've had to throw jabs at Igbos on some occasions, I know that you're a good person real life. I can see it from some of your posts. But according to Section A, number 3 of the Nominations guideline, you're not qualified to vote for any one.


Qualifications
A forumer shall be eligible to nominate 2
forumers only or be nominated if:

3. Such forumer has not directly or indirectly
through his actions (posts) denigrate or
caused the denigration of any or other Igbo
group/sub group, state, cultural institutions or heroes.

I think Onlytruth should be returned unopposed,this does not means hes the best Igbos on nairaland would ever produce,but owing to his visibility and method of advocacy,I think he fits the bill.

Meanwhile, dayokanu and Bluetooth should be appointed as roving cultural ambassadors of the Igbo nation.. grin grin grin

If an Igbo man who does not align with popular views and conventional Igbo ideology nominates a candidate,would his /her nomination stand?. Please, can you provide more details on the highlighted.

How did I denigrate the Igbo ethnic group, or any Igbo hero I express myself the best way I can... However, I'm not perfect, and I don't post on threads to denigrate other people maliciously... I've got a shrewd sense of humour..Perhaps, you guys are equating that to 'denigration'.. No biggie, anyway..

The best candidates are:
