Wow, this is so nice. The last time I was there, suspected bugs on those torn seats, now one can seat comfortably because that is what we do most in Nigerian airports ; seat and wait for em flight

Building it has never been the problem. Its the maintenance. Lets see what that airport will look like in a year's time.

Guy, Govt doesn't run businesses for people.

Anyways, 2 Very important things is presently been done in order to aid domestic airlines: 1st, the recent zero duty and VAT on imported planes and spare parts that would help airlines save about #130m on every plane bought and brought into d country; and 2nd, the new single digit loan facility, announced just last 2wks by d Minister which is to be administered by d CBN, and is expected to help d airlines wit their financial difficulties although dis time around d money is to be paid as leasing fee to d manufacturers directly( so that d loan is actually used for airlines) who would also be expected build Hangers in-country in order to further reduce d costs of taking aircrafts out of d country for checks and repairs. These 2 measures which airlines and stakeholders in d aviation sector have been asking for for years should help d airlines cut costs, restructure and perhaps aid d resuscitation of closed airlines or birth of new ones. Heard that 4 new airlines would be registered nx year.

Anyways, these 11 remodelled airports which have previously not been touched for more than 30yrs since most of them were built and were an embarrassing eyesore to many of us, are a welcomed news and should be seen as part of d process, not an end in itself. So kudos to d Min of Aviation.

Look more like a shopping complex than an airport to me,shoprite's outer view is far better than the outside view of that airport.
