Women are discouraged from wearing pants at my church too. I do not wear pants to church. It is not necessarily because I am told not to. It is because I feel it is a sign of respect to wear a dress.

@op It isn't bad. Its just a piece of clothing that can be worn decently and indecently. wear whatever you feel comfortable in and one the holy spirit will approve us. Smoking, cheating and co are things that are naturally not right, you don't need the Bible to figure that out, even unbelievers know. So if your faith permits you to put on pants, go ahead and if not don't condemn those who do. peace
