Are you a Roman Catholic doubting whether you are a real Christian?

I am also a Roman Catholic and I listen to any person who teaches about Jesus Christ Crucified as the *only Lord and God* of all human beings as well as the whole creation via social media especially YouTube and even read books authored by *non; Catholic Christians* however I have never left Catholic Church to attend any physical gathering of believers that is not Catholic for the past 22-years.

For you to sense that God hears your prayers in the Catholic church but it's manifestations seems to be *unrealistic*, I want to assure you that God is *real* in the Romans Catholic Church and your heart longs for HIM. As a small boy, I lived a life of sexual-immoralities especially pornography and fornication from the age of 7-11 years(1997) that was when I wanted to receive the Holy Eucharist and I told Jesus based upon the name we call HIM during *our block rosary prayers and Holy Mass*; "the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world" while we were playing football within that *Holy Communion preparatory class* thus "Jesus, you are the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the whole world, please take away this sin of fornication and pornography in my life"....
I did not even know that *prayer is in the bible*
From that day (March 1997) till date I have never kissed, caressed, romanced or had any sexual intimacy with any being (man, woman or spirit) till date. I know He(Jesus Christ Crucified; the Eucharistic Jesus) who started it will continue it till eternity (2 Timothy 1:12). This is the *quality of a true Christian*;.... "His name shall be called Jesus because He will deliver His brothers and sisters from their sin" (Matthew 1:21)

As a Roman Catholic doubting whether your faith in Jesus Christ is real or can it guarantee genuine salvation;
You need to re-examine what/who you think God is *truly*
You need to re-examine what you think Christianity is all about *truly*
What is *salvation in Christ Jesus* truly ?
What is prayer, answered prayers and manifestations of answered prayers ?
What is the place of trials, persecutions, temptations, miracles, favours, Grace e.t.c in the life of a Christian ?
What is the position of God's word in your life?

All these requires conscious personal deliberate study of God's word written in the whole holy bible especially the new-testament to receive complete revelation of *Jesus Christ Crucified* as well as fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayers, praises and dialogue. "If you search for me with *your whole heart*, you will find me" (Jeremiah 29:13), "I reveal myself to those who love me and keep my commandments" (John 14:21)

Seek mercy to *receive grace*:
Come with boldness to the throne of God's grace; the Cross of Jesus Christ(inside your heart/mind now not just physical cross/crucifix; Hebrews 4:16) were He destroyed *our old-man/flesh* and replaced it with His own flesh so that we can serve God acceptably on this earth with full hope and glory of eternal life/Heaven, clarity of His purpose for us on this earth despite the trials, temptations, persecutions, miracles, Grace, favours e.t.c and His enduring assistance through His indwelling Holy Spirit who both wills and does His good pleasures through our mortal-bodies till our biological death or the archangel's trumpet (Phil.2:13, John 12:31-33, John 19:30)

It is with *grace from the Cross of Jesus Christ* that believers enter into *authentic faith-walk with God*; die with Jesus *100% on the Cross inside His Crucified flesh* in order to receive His new flesh inside our mortal-bodies whereby we can now understand *his will* and collaborate with His manifestations in our individual lives. Pray for grace *to use grace in serving God acceptably in this world no matter the persecutions or miracles surrounding you currently(Hebrews 12:28)* because every human being has received grace which enables us to receive salvation through the gospel, the same grace teaches us how to resist sin and worldly passions, the same grace teaches us how to live self-controlled, righteous and holy lives in this sinful world consistently till eternity (Titus 2:11-14).

Faith and prayer *does not make God to change His will for our lives* rather it helps us to discover them and *willingly submit to it* thus Our Mother Mary when she was told that she will get pregnant without sexual intimacy with any man(something which has never happened in the whole history of human existence), she questioned and accepted the explanation of the angel thus "I am the handmaid of the Lord, *be it done to me according to your word*" (Luke 1:38) and "the word took flesh in her womb..." (John 1:14)

When a person has died with Jesus on the Cross, the new life of Jesus Christ Crucified now living inside you prays (Romans 8:26, Phil.2:13, John 3:6) which is according to His will("when we pray according to His will, he answers us" 1 John 5:14) not just according to how we feel, think or imagine even the whims of our emotions. He answers them and brings them to manifestations at *His own time and method* (Gal.4:4) and you need to know that He loves you more than you love yourself, and He is working out something every tick of time for His own glory in your life and you will never *regret anything He is doing in your life* ("I am doing something in your life right now, when it manifests, it will surprise you" Habakkuk 1:5)

Just make sure that the decision you made to belong to Jesus Christ Crucified on the Cross of Calvary is *100% and forever* then collaborate with His Grace as you experience and express *His God-head reality* in your whole life and all that concerns you from now. (Luke 9:23, Luke 14:25-33, John 19:30)

In the Catholic Church, I am a member of Teaching ministry of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. You can join CCRN in your parish and they will help you to build a solid faith in Christ Jesus Crucified and I am also a member of the Legion of Mary; you can also join your parish legionaries, they will also help you to grow your faith in Christ Jesus Crucified in relationship with the Spirit of Our Mother the Blessed Virgin Mary!!!

Abbah My Father, thank You GOD for being GOD!!!

Thank You Jesus Christ Crucified; My GOD!!!

Sweet Holy Spirit; Thank You for Your Inexplicable Companionship throughout 2019 and the past years of my existence on this earth!!!

Abbah Father, we submit/surrender to your revelation of Jesus Christ Crucified to us as individuals in a deeper and clearer manner as you lead us into and through 2020 just as you gave *such revelation to Peter in Matthew 16:17 even to Paul in Acts 26:16-18* through the unlimited manifestations of Your Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

Holy Spirit, fill us this day 31-12-2019 until your grace from the Crucified body of Jesus Christ lifts us to be Crucified together with our flesh inside the body of Jesus Crucified on the Cross of Calvary to bring about the *eternal termination of our flesh* and the *beginning* of Christ lifestyle daily crucified in our mortal-bodies which draws other human being to repentance and remission of their sins in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ Crucified, we surrender to your grace that flows from your death on the Cross to terminate *our old-self/flesh* and replace it with your own *new-flesh* within our mortal-bodies as well as *an individual appearance/revelation of your Crucified purpose upon each human being* with whom we have shared your gospel in 2019, previous years of our lives and those who you will lead us to encounter with your gospel and life through this 2020 such that *your direct revelation to them will sustain them till eternity just like Paul in Gal.1:11* not just our *limited information/knowledge to them* through the unlimited manifestations of your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Thank You Faithful GOD!!!
Great Grace Brethren!!!

Advise for Christian students leaving their parents for the campus:

Surrender *your flesh 100% and forever* to the grace of the Cross of Jesus Christ and be Crucified together with HIM. (John 19:30)

Die daily with Jesus Christ on the Cross (2 Corinthian 4:10-12) that is prayerfully remind yourself that you are *permanently dead with Jesus on the Cross* and now *Christ Jesus is the person studying, thinking, deciding, playing, eating, fasting, praying, writing, relating with people around you through your mortal body* thus "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless i live; yet not i, but Christ lives in me: and the life which i now live in the *mortal-body*, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not *frustrate the grace of God*: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain" (Galatians 2:20-21)

Study God’s word with the intention to know more about Jesus Christ Crucified (John 5:39, Matthew 16:17)

Fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayer, praises and dialogue/study every tick of time (John 14:16)

Do not try to impress God rather submit to His leading (James 4:7-8 )

Always seek mercy to receive grace because every time on this earth is a *time of need* (Hebrews 4:16) especially with campus *distractions*

Locate your Christian fellowship within your school and become active member with the intention of *discovering more about God’s grace in the crucified Jesus Christ and glory in your life* not to impress student pastors/girls/boys/lecturers in your fellowship.

Also locate your state/local government students within school and identify with them, they will help you with their experiences that will give you an edge instead of making their own mistakes however do not allow school politics to distract your studies unless you have the grace to combine both.

Stay in general school hostel because of security or else find accommodation very close to school which has security *consciousness* if your parents can afford it and you are convinced within you to stay outside the school hostel.

Draw a study time-table, paste it beside your bed, people will mock you for that but ask God for grace to assiduously follow it up, your test, examinations and academic results will never make you shameful as long as you study and good results builds personal confidence and psychological health as a student while bad academic results causes sadness and psychological sickness/stress for students

Associate with any person male or female in whose company you find *inner peace and purity* not people who will coerce you into *tempting environment and relationships* that will distract you.

Make a decision that you are going to school to study, develop yourself in any righteous skills not to *belong to bad-boys, cults/capon or sexual escapades/relationships, partying and clubbing, alcoholic-competitor/boss e.t.c*

Make a decision that God’s grace will pull the through with a *first class in your course* because you are going to impart your generation and it is possible for you because you carry the *Excellent Spirit of God* (John 14:16)

Trust God to protect you without you belonging to cults, bad-boys/girls, happening guys/babes in campus. If you truly fellowship with Jesus Christ Crucified, all those people carrying *fowl-spirit* cannot *intimidate or influence you* rather they will flee from you. Bear in mind they will approach you, try to intimidate but *as long as you stand your ground in Christ Jesus Crucified* they will flee from you. I am talking from experience of 5-years in the University.

You are not going to marry any girl/boy within your university days hence do not *enter into soul-ties/curses* under the disguise of *fun* which is *sexual-immoralities*. You will have more time to focus on your studies and develop your future as well as *spend less* in terms of finances and distractions. Marriage if its God's vocation for you will come after your graduation, when your life vision is clear, your financial strength has a clear base/definition and you have a definite clarity on the woman who will be able to compliment your purpose in Christ Jesus Crucified *not youthful infatuations and lust*.

Always attend your lectures and be prompt, discover what each lecturer focuses while teaching, check past questions from each lecturer then ask God for grace and wisdom to adequately attend to each lecturers methodology within God’s righteous standards.

Any lecturer that tries to intimidate you, humble yourself and say *I am sorry even when you did nothing wrong* however if he/she starts making unrighteous demands *submit him/her to the throne of God’s grace*; “the heart of a king is in the hand of GOD and like a flowing stream, He directs it to wherever it pleases him” (Proverbs 21:1) and "Those who know their God, shall stand their ground and do exploits" (Daniel 11:32)

Be appreciative of whatever your parents can afford, do not spend money wastefully, cultivate the habit of savings. If you have the grace, you can do *genuine networking business that have tangible products* or other students side-business that is *righteous* to support whatever your parents will be giving you even for life after school. Attend tutorials, seminars, workshops, retreats within your course, faith in Christ, righteous skills/talents e.t.c within your financial capacity, time-frame and disposition.

Once you school is on vacation/break/strike; return home to your parents. Go and help your parents at home who sponsor your education. Do not jump around school to avoid being lured into evil/crime. Do not jump from uncles house to aunties house in a bid to avoid the responsibilities of staying with your parents in the endeavors/business/profession which produces your school fess and up-keep allowance.

We thank God for sustaining us as members of the body of Christ (the Church) through this 2019

Thank You Jesus Christ Crucified; for sustaining us by your grace in your body; the Church of the living God!!!

2 Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

We are thanking God for *sustaining us in faith with Jesus Christ Crucified* through *2019*

So many people gave up on *grace and salvation* in Christ Jesus within this 2019.

As we are appreciating God for still *retaining us as co-heirs with Jesus Christ*, He is asking us to remember the *foundation upon which we stand*
1. Death of *the flesh* by being Crucified together with *Christ permanently on His Cross*

2. If there is any fruit of the flesh still manifesting in the hidden or external aspects of any one of us, no matter your *title/level* go to the Cross of Jesus Christ and submit for *His death-blow upon your flesh once and forever* with *all sincerity and humility* unless *our flesh dies by the Cross of Jesus Christ* we are just *abomination unto God preparing for the wrath of hell-fire* thus "whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6)

3. Replacement of *our Crucified/dead flesh* with the *LIFE that is LIGHT; Jesus Christ Crucified*

4. Dieying daily with Christ on His Cross such that we *remember and agree in our mind* in whatever we want to think, imagine, desire or do as *being done by Jesus* who now lives through us *while we remain perpetually dead with Him on his Crucified body on the Cross*

5. Trusting Christ who now lives through us through His grace, daily deliberate study of God's word, prayers, praises, dialogue/fellowship and collaboration to *His instructions* within us to bring about His purpose in our lives which *we can never regret now or in the future* no matter the trials, temptations, persecutions, miracles, favours and enjoyments of our earthly existence.

Thank You Jesus Christ Crucified because we are convinced that your grace will sustain and increase our faith-walk with you in this 2020 and beyond even as you welcome us into eternal glory in heaven when the *archangel's trumpet blows*. Amen.

These 5-step defines the *only one foundation; Jesus Christ Crucified*
1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

May the Lord *open our heart to the understanding of this aspect of thanksgiving and revelation* in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank You Jesus Christ Crucified for Your gift of 2020 to Us!!!

Indeed, 2020 is my year of *crucifying the flesh together with the flesh of Jesus Christ on the Cross* as at Calvary about 2000 years ago in order to have *genuine Christians* who will *perpetuate the Christ Jesus lifestyle* till eternity not minding the trials, temptations, challenges, miracles, favours e.t.c of our earthly existence!!!

Happy New Year Brethren!!!

15 And I said, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ And the Lord said, ‘I am Jesus whom you are persecuting. 16 But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, 17 delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you 18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

19 “Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus, then in Jerusalem and throughout all the region of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds in keeping with their repentance.

John 11 Living Bible (TLB)
1-2 Do you remember Mary, who poured the costly perfume on Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair?[a] Well, her brother Lazarus, who lived in Bethany with Mary and her sister Martha, was sick. 3 So the two sisters sent a message to Jesus telling him, “Sir, your good friend is very, very sick.”

4 But when Jesus heard about it he said, “The purpose of his illness is not death, but for the glory of God. I, the Son of God, will receive glory from this situation.”

5 Although Jesus was very fond of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, 6 he stayed where he was for the next two days and made no move to go to them. 7 Finally, after the two days, he said to his disciples, “Let’s go to Judea.”

8 But his disciples objected. “Master,” they said, “only a few days ago the Jewish leaders in Judea were trying to kill you. Are you going there again?”

9 Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours of daylight every day, and during every hour of it a man can walk safely and not stumble. 10 Only at night is there danger of a wrong step, because of the dark.” 11 Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has gone to sleep, but now I will go and waken him!”

12-13 The disciples, thinking Jesus meant Lazarus was having a good night’s rest, said, “That means he is getting better!” But Jesus meant Lazarus had died.

14 Then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. 15 And for your sake, I am glad I wasn’t there, for this will give you another opportunity to believe in me. Come, let’s go to him.”

16 Thomas, nicknamed “The Twin,” said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s go too—and die with him.”

17 When they arrived at Bethany, they were told that Lazarus had already been in his tomb for four days. 18 Bethany was only a couple of miles down the road from Jerusalem, 19 and many of the Jewish leaders had come to pay their respects and to console Martha and Mary on their loss. 20 When Martha got word that Jesus was coming, she went to meet him. But Mary stayed at home.

21 Martha said to Jesus, “Sir, if you had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died. 22 And even now it’s not too late, for I know that God will bring my brother back to life again, if you will only ask him to.”

23 Jesus told her, “Your brother will come back to life again.”

24 “Yes,” Martha said, “when everyone else does, on Resurrection Day.”

25 Jesus told her, “I am the one who raises the dead and gives them life again. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again. 26 He is given eternal life for believing in me and shall never perish. Do you believe this, Martha?”

27 “Yes, Master,” she told him. “I believe you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one we have so long awaited.”

28 Then she left him and returned to Mary and, calling her aside from the mourners, told her, “He is here and wants to see you.” 29 So Mary went to him at once.

30 Now Jesus had stayed outside the village, at the place where Martha met him. 31 When the Jewish leaders who were at the house trying to console Mary saw her leave so hastily, they assumed she was going to Lazarus’ tomb to weep; so they followed her.

32 When Mary arrived where Jesus was, she fell down at his feet, saying, “Sir, if you had been here, my brother would still be alive.”

33 When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jewish leaders wailing with her, he was moved with indignation and deeply troubled. 34 “Where is he buried?” he asked them.

They told him, “Come and see.” 35 Tears came to Jesus’ eyes.

36 “They were close friends,” the Jewish leaders said. “See how much he loved him.”

37-38 But some said, “This fellow healed a blind man—why couldn’t he keep Lazarus from dying?”

And again Jesus was moved with deep anger. Then they came to the tomb. It was a cave with a heavy stone rolled across its door.

39 “Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them.

But Martha, the dead man’s sister, said, “By now the smell will be terrible, for he has been dead four days.”

40 “But didn’t I tell you that you will see a wonderful miracle from God if you believe?” Jesus asked her.

41 So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42 (You always hear me, of course, but I said it because of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.)” 43 Then he shouted, “Lazarus, come out!”

44 And Lazarus came—bound up in the gravecloth, his face muffled in a head swath. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”

45 And so at last many of the Jewish leaders who were with Mary and saw it happen, finally believed on him. 46 But some went away to the Pharisees and reported it to them.

47 Then the chief priests and Pharisees convened a council to discuss the situation.

“What are we going to do?” they asked each other. “For this man certainly does miracles. 48 If we let him alone the whole nation will follow him—and then the Roman army will come and kill us and take over the Jewish government.”

49 And one of them, Caiaphas, who was High Priest that year, said, “You stupid idiots— 50 let this one man die for the people—why should the whole nation perish?”

51 This prophecy that Jesus should die for the entire nation came from Caiaphas in his position as High Priest—he didn’t think of it by himself, but was inspired to say it. 52 It was a prediction that Jesus’ death would not be for Israel only, but for all the children of God scattered around the world. 53 So from that time on the Jewish leaders began plotting Jesus’ death.

54 Jesus now stopped his public ministry and left Jerusalem; he went to the edge of the desert, to the village of Ephraim, and stayed there with his disciples.

55 The Passover, a Jewish holy day, was near, and many country people arrived in Jerusalem several days early so that they could go through the cleansing ceremony before the Passover began. 56 They wanted to see Jesus, and as they gossiped in the Temple, they asked each other, “What do you think? Will he come for the Passover?” 57 Meanwhile the chief priests and Pharisees had publicly announced that anyone seeing Jesus must report him immediately so that they could arrest him.

John 12 J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)
An act of love as the end approaches
1-5 Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, the village of Lazarus whom he had raised from the dead. They gave a supper for him there, and Martha waited on the party while Lazarus took his place at table with Jesus. Then Mary took a whole pound of very expensive perfume and anointed Jesus’ feet and then wiped them with her hair. The entire house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot (the man who was going to betray Jesus), burst out, “Why on earth wasn’t this perfume sold? It’s worth thirty pounds, which could have been given to the poor!”

6 He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was dishonest, and when he was in charge of the purse used to help himself to the contents.

7-8 But Jesus replied to this outburst, “Let her alone, let her keep this for the day of my burial. You have the poor with you always—you will not always have me!”

9-11 The large crowd of Jews discovered that he was there and came to the scene—not only because of Jesus but to catch sight of Lazarus, the man whom he had raised from the dead. Then the chief priests planned to kill Lazarus as well, because he was the reason for many of the Jews’ going away and putting their faith in Jesus.

Jesus experiences a temporary triumph
12-13 The next day, the great crowd who had come to the festival heard that Jesus was coming into Jerusalem, and went to meet him with palm branches in their hands, shouting, “God save him! ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord’, God bless the king of Israel!”

14-15 For Jesus had found a young ass and was seated upon it, just as the scripture foretold—‘Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt’.

16 (The disciples did not realise the significance of what was happening at the time, but when Jesus was glorified, then they recollected that these things had been written about him and that they had carried them out for him.)

17-19 The people who had been with him, when he had summoned Lazarus from the grave and raised him from the dead, were continually talking about him. This accounts for the crowd who went out to meet him, for they had heard that he had given this sign. Seeing all this, the Pharisees remarked to one another, “You see?—There’s nothing one can do! The whole world is running after him.”

20-21 Among those who had come up to worship at the festival were some Greeks. They approached Philip with the request, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”

22 Philip went and told Andrew, and Andrew went with Philip and told Jesus.

23-26 Jesus told them, “The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you truly that unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains a single grain of wheat; but if it does, it brings a good harvest. The man who loves his own life will destroy it, and the man who hates his life in this world will preserve it for eternal life. If a man wants to enter my service, he must follow my way; and where I am, my servant will also be. And my Father will honour every man who enters my service.

27-28 “Now comes my hour of heart-break, and what can I say, ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very purpose that I came to this hour. ‘Father, honour your own name!’” At this there came a voice from Heaven, “I have honoured it and I will honour it again!”

29 When the crowd of bystanders heard this, they said it thundered, but some of them said, “An angel spoke to him.”

30-33 Then Jesus said, “That voice came for your sake, not for mine. Now is the time for the judgment of this world to begin, and now will the spirit that rules this world be driven out. As for me, if I am lifted up from the earth I will draw all men to myself.” (He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.)

34 Then the crowd said, “We have heard from the Law that Christ lives for ever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be ‘lifted up’? Who is this Son of Man?”

35-36a At this, Jesus said to them, “You have the light with you only a little while longer. Go on while the light is good, before the darkness come down upon you. For the man who walks in the dark has no idea where he is going. You must believe in the light while you have the light, that you may become the sons of light.”

36b-38 Jesus said all these things, and then went away, out of their sight. But though he had given so many signs, yet they did not believe in him, so that the prophecy of Isaiah was fulfilled, when he said, ‘Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’

39-40 Thus, they could not believe, and he hardened their heart: ‘He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes and understand with their heart, lest they should turn, so that I should heal them’.

41-43 Isaiah said these things because he saw the glory of Christ, and spoke about him. Nevertheless, many even of the authorities did believe in him. But they would not admit it for fear of the Pharisees, in case they should be excommunicated. They were more concerned to have the approval of men than to have the approval of God.

44-50 But later, Jesus cried aloud, “Every man who believes in me, is believing in the one who sent me; and every man who sees me is seeing the one who sent me. I have come into the world as light, so that no one who believes in me need remain in the dark. Yet, if anyone hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him—for I did not come to judge the world but to save it. Every man who rejects me and will not accept my sayings has a judge—at the last day, the very words that I have spoken will be his judge. For I have not spoken on my own authority: the Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and what to speak. And I know that what he commands means eternal life. All that I say I speak only in accordance with what the Father has told me.”

Message delivered on the last day of 2019.

Topic : The race not for the swift.
Text: Ecc. 9 : 11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

This year is coming to an end in less than 4 hours, today's Bible study shall reflect on God's faithfulness over our lives since the beginning of this outgoing year.
In our various domains : schools, places of work and others, a lot of happenings have occurred either pleasant or otherwise. The focus of this study is on the unpleasant events that happened to some in this year 2019 because in one way or the other God has been good to us. The question is, are those involved in mishaps the chiefest of sinner? ..or don't they know how to pray? .or. Is it by our righteousness, time spent praying, fasting, our smartness or what have you, that we are being spared?  No, not at all. Though it is good to ; spend quality time with the Lord in the place of prayer, fast regularly as a child of God, be holy as our Father is holy, and all the rest, but we are still here on earth because of the Lord's doing. Zechariah 4 : 6 - 9 says *Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.* Let insert our name here, it is because of the spirit of God. You and I shall see the end of this year and many more years to come here on earth if Jesus tarries in Jesus name, amen. Brethren, do you know many have done the same thing we did, but they are no more, the same road we traveled by,  is the same that has sent many people to the world beyond, the same sickness we treated with just paracetamol was the one that claimed the lives of people. Haven't you heard of a whole family killed after eating a sumptuous meal of amala that died thereafter? I want to believe most of us here do eat amala every now and then., and here we are seeing the last Monday and the penultimate day of the year 2019. One has to praise God for HIS faithfulness indeed. Let somebody shout hallelujah....................
Ohh, you may want to say that 2019 has been a challenging year academically, financially, healthwisely, physically and the rest. Let me remind you that we have been called to be a soldier of the cross, and as a soldier the kingdom of satan will fight such, but we are assured in Psalms 34 : 19 that He will deliver us. *Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.* He has been delivering us, and He shall continue to be faithful to us as we continually look up to him as the author and finisher of our faith in Jesus name. Isaiah 59 : 19 makes us to understand that the enemy will try us, but that we should not be afraid because we have a God that is mighty in battle. * So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him*
In conclusion, * King David, in all his craftiness to win wars and battles, he acknowledged HIM that is able to save and deliver. Psalms 124 : 1 - 8, let us read it together

*If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;*
*If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:*
*Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:*
*Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:*
*Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.*
*Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.*
*Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.*
*Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.*

Happy new year 2020

John 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. 13:22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. 13:24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. 13:25 He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it? 13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Only those who have surrendered 100% of their being(spirit, soul and body) to the grace of God which lifts a human being to the Cross in order to be Crucified together with Jesus Christ and remain dead daily on that Cross so that the *resurrection life of Christ* begins to manifest through them and impart other human beings can *produce lifestyle that agrees totally to the WILL OF GOD*.

2 Corinthians 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 4:11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. 4:12 So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

John 14 King James Version (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

When any human being accepts to die with Jesus Christ on the Cross, your *dead-self/flesh* becomes *replaced by Jesus Christ resurrected being through His Holy Spirit* thus it is the Holy Spirit *who prays according to God's will inside our mortal-bodies* thus "when we pray according to HIS WILL, He answers us" (1 John 5:14)
and
"Romans 8:26 Likewise the *Holy Spirit* also helpeth our *infirmities/limitations*: for *we know not what we should pray for as we ought*: but the *Holy Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered*. Romans 8:27 And He(the God-head) that *searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Holy Spirit*, because *HE (the Holy Spirit) maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.*

This is one of the *wrong interpretations of the scriptures( just pray 'anything you want' and God will answer it)* that have made so many *used to be Christians* to quit *christianity* or make some people who are still in the church feeling *frustrated that God does not answer the prayers their flesh has been making*

1. It is the Holy Spirit at work in our individual lives that *prompts us to pray* thus Proverbs 21:1 "The *king's heart(every human heart)* is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He *turns it wheresoever He wills*
And
Philippians 2:13 "For it is *God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.*

2. The Holy Spirit *makes the prayers through us* (Romans 8:26-27)

3. The Holy Spirit *answers the prayers* (John 14:13-14)
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

4. The Holy Spirit *enables us to wait without mummering/grumbling till the time of manifesting the answered prayers* (Habbakuk 1:5, Habbakuk 2:3)
Habakkuk 1:5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: *for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.*
Habakkuk 2:3 For *the vision is yet for an appointed time*, but at *the end it shall speak, and not lie*: though it tarry, *wait for it;* because it will *surely come*, it will not tarry.

5. The Holy Spirit *brings about the manifestation of the answered prayers at His own appointed time* (Galatians 4:4-5)
Galatians 4:4 But when *the fulness of the time was come*, God *sent forth his Son*, made of a woman, made under the law, *to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.*

6. The Father is *glorified for the manifestation of the answered prayers* (John 15:8 )
John 15:8 Herein is *my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;* so shall *ye be my disciples.*

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

In the Cross, in the Cross,
Be my glory ever,
From the Cross my ransomed soul,
Nothing then shall severe(separate). Amen.

I love this analogy!

You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

"Because someone bumped into me!!!"

Wrong answer.

You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.

Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

*Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.*

Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

*So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"*

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

Let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

God bless you.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

"When Adam *sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned*. Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. *Still, everyone died*—from the time of Adam to the time of Moses— *even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did*. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come." (Romans 5:12-14)

Jesus answered, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, *unless a man is born of water and [even] the Spirit, he cannot [ever] enter the kingdom of God.* Humans can *reproduce only human life*, but the *Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.* (John 3:5-6)

John 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, *Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit*. 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: *now shall the prince of this world be cast out.* 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

The *Holy Spirit alone gives eternal life*. Human effort *accomplishes nothing*. And the *very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life.* (John 6:63 NLT)
