Am not in oando and Fbnh. Of course I am losing (about 20%) on all my stocks at the moment. I can't really time the market so I just keep buying when I see good prices. I started buying last year during the sell offs in August/September.I have mostly bank stocks (access, zenith,Uba and GTB) cos that's where I see the highest dividend yield been paid for their 2015 financial year end.

Me, I don't know why the wrong posting, i'm just glad I can have my money back. I think we should all be patient with MorganCapital, I have heard from a representative that the errors will be corrected but I do agree that they should have informed us.

stockbull:
is it true the #5,000 was correct? is it right to delete the January annual charge from the statement of account, imputed the newly charge 5,000 into October trading activities when it is posted in January 2016,do any of you experience free credit of 2,500 on your account balance in October 2015, that you've easily forgotten now?

I totally believe maybe your issue wasn't resolved on time maybe it was an oversight. I have heard from others that their services is quite good, is just that we Nigerians pretend not to understand our own banking systems especially when multiple transfer hits an account.

stokfrick:

This is becoming a serious problem and its very bad! Very poor communication between Morgan and its clients. We keep complaining about their customer service and their management does nothing about it. Bnsitl I think we should let them know we are no longer comfortable with this.the should improve on their public relations dept.

My oga Agbalowomeri with his words of wisdom, I hail ooo.

This market is not for the faint-hearted ooo. These prices I am seeing be like Black Friday sales Oo. Sold off some of my FX stash and added more units to my previously held zenith shares and bought my first tranche of GTB today. Nothing as sweet as picking some good quality stocks at giveaway prices.

I might be wrong but I am hearing from the grapevines that devaluation might come before this month runs out. If that happens and they move the trading band to N230 or so, then we might see some foreign guys taking up some quality stocks.

As usual do your due diligence and brace yourself for more volatility cos the storm is not over yet.

Can you explain moving the trading band to 230

Bros devaluation is one thing that is not gonna happen either now or 5 years from now..

If CBN devalues what do you think will happen to the price of fuel??

PMB is not ready to start fighting any war of fuel price increase with the labour union and wailers yet.....

so just keep buying and hoping that the coys whose shares you buy are able to navigate thru the looming hard times well!

Morgan capita is not fraudulent. There was a system error that credited clients their annual fees. Normal companies will communicate a detailed explanation to their clients before the new deductions.

If you have time go through your statement. It will balance out. No extra deduction

It's either you are a staff/ally of the company or you are paid to defend them.

If I may ask.., why would there be a reversal in October last year and there will wait it till January this year before deducting it back? Which financial institution does that?

Also why was there no notice to customers?
Why was it erased from customers statement?

Lots of questions to ask and at the end there will only defend themselves.

My account was deducted early last year after filling e bonus form. When I asked, I was told it was told then that I can now get my bonus in my account directly yet FBNH bonus was credit to my CSCS acct but I still don't see it in my Morgan account.

The issue of double deduction of access charge by Morgan Capital has been escalated to the appropriate authority and it is being worked upon. Kindly exercise patience.

Here is the last straw, the final blow on Nigeria's oil economy.
Oil may now drop to $20, and Nigeria's oil costs $20/barrel to produce.

Thanks Yemo0350 that's what we expect to hear. Even though it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Not someone coming to tell us that if we are not lazy we should calculate when the money is obviously missing.

I think this is obvious manipulation..I've heard someone talking to me about it today. the same thing happened to the accounts I've with them. they're not replying my mails since I promise to take it up. the so called, erroneously reversed #2,500 has not shown on the BALANCE and also, the statement of account of their clients were edited from their end.

have just noticed this (?dodgy) entry. I have always been charged the annual fee in October.

I opened my A/C in October 2014, was charged
2.5K in October 14
2.5K in October 15
2.5K in January 16

I'll get on the blower to them on Monday. Every little helps (as my favourite grocery chain would say)

I agree with you. But the company should not have gone back to adjust the entry they made in Jan 2015 when we were debited N5,000 instead of N2500. There is also no trace of the reversal of entry in October 2015. Our blood is hot, having lost heavily. So deductions from our accounts however little it is will be challenged. Morgan is cool and to say they are fraudulent is not complimentary enough.
i was debited twices ...but this october reversal that i dnt undastand..... wen i funded my acct in dec 2015, i was charge. bt now i can see that in d acct statement again how can yu charge me for oct 2015 wen i open my acct with them in dec 2015......
dnt undastan

The longer the bear, the longer it takes to recover.
