Plz skyebnk 1yr return is -46.07%. Wat does it mean?
It is the return difference in the price of Skye as at 13/05/2015 compared to it's current price which gives a negative return (-46.07%)

Price of Skye as at 13/05/2015: 2.27

Price today: 1.20

i was so busy today. when i logged in and saw ten unread pages i knew something was amiss.
Congrats to all the ppl that were able to lock in their profits.
Nsempa rocks!

presently, i dont have money in the market. i will be needing my money for some things very soon, so i wont gamble with it till am done with the activity. after that, the gambling continues.
i sold my stocks at the simplest sign of weakness or sideway trading.

I think FG will deny the devaluation rumour very soon. What I infer from available info is that the exchange rate for certain imports such as petroleum products will be fixed at a different inter bank rate while the official rate will remain for selected categories of goods and services. This means there will be different rates for different products.

Sir, FBNH and FCMB will gain more in terms of this oil and gas industries liberation (downstream sector) because they are most one negatively affected by all this impairments charges (bad loans to oil and gas). I will fully go for FBNH grin

Just personal opinion.

Tips: Have u seen the shark price target on FBNH (wait a bit...lol)

At the time I posted that question, my order of ranking for all three was:-

FBNH
UBA
FCMB

However I just couldn't understand why FBNH was doing only 3% or 4% at the time when FCMB was on full bid at 10%. So that stopped me from going for either. It's only this evening that I checked stats of the days trading and saw that of the 567,590,938 shares traded today on the NSE, 107,172,820 were of First bank. That's almost 20%! Anyway, I get now. A lot of people are scared because this FBNH dealt with plenty of us (trapped me down for like 18 months), either way if the market bull continues I know say this stock go fly

Sir, it would be loopy for anyone to expect FG to officially announce that Naira is devalued. From the perspective of PMB stand-firm on 'No Devaluation', we all know that Naira is unofficially devalue when one can't access official rate of 'Naira to Pounds Sterling' or Naira to Euro or Naira to (USD)$$$ when used his/her card abroad. My continuous relax mode in this scenario is the deregulation of downstream sector of oil and gas industries which would translate to less impairments charges (more profits) of the banks and the implementation of 2016 budgets. The party just started... grin
