Fidelity has been top 10 on the vol chart every single week since Jan. I knew something was cooking when they had cross deals at N0.91 and when there was a very sharp spike in vol with very heavy bids at N0.87. That's what experience on the NSE brings you, not over analysing charts 1 Like |

fxuser: PAT is 9.7b while PBT is 11b. And what I like most is the low impairment charge(8 .7b). Kudos to you guys at Fidelity |

pluto09: What was the dividend yield last year? With a fall in PAT one expects the div yeild to at most stay the same. Hope we are not going back to the days of Oceanic with these banks! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by duni04(m): 9:22pm On Apr 07, 2017 |
Raider76:16k last year. Don't over dramatize the fall in PAT. Impairments almost slaughtered everybody last year. Even with impairments they still kept the PAT respectable. |

Aks: Ah, understandable. 2016 was terrible for the stock market. Many resons for that anyway: 1 Fixed Income instruments were very attractive. 2. Investment in currency(FX) was more arrtractive 3. Capital Control and body language eroded confidence and challenged companies. 4. Devaluation and its attendant consequences. But most companies seemingly turned the corner(transfered the cost to consumers) and it's reflecting in the better than expected results that's being released. Stock market will be more attractive that any other investmet in 2017(excluding MMM2 ) |
