PE no longer applicable in NB. Which info you wan get? What about Nestle?

The same way they were no longer applicable to some banking and insurance stocks about 10 years ago.

I hope NB is also growing her earning by 40%, since the pe is over 40.

Look at the 2016 audited result and also take a look at just 9months result of 2017.
There gonna be a big jump in profit when comparing the audited 2017 and that of 2016.
Market must respond to the result.we wait and see.
This way I take my own position o.

You are always full of noise until result surfaces.

I thought you said you have repented!

I hope you won't go on another exile when they release result.

Finally, FBNH finds the bull bug. Listened to the conference call of Q3. They have deliberately refused to write off two bad loans because they don't want to be over zealous. They want the auditor's to announce the good news.

Upl and Cutix.

Forget about caverton

People are analysing UPL based on the Q2 result Hope you recognise the seasonal nature of its earnings. Q2 (July to Sept) is ALWAYS the best quarters. Other quarters are usually quite poor. They will likely make losses in the other quarters. Hope that is factored into your analysis.

PE is applicable. Which companies are you comparing PE of Nestle/NBL with? Nestle/NBL are blue chip stocks that ALWAYS trade at a premium.

UPL have the best numbers with good dividend history, good products as at today every children still required to buy books grin

and don't forget upl numbers you see is half year not Q3 but they need to improve on their operational cash and free cash otherwise similar dividend paid last year will still remain to be pay

grin grin

That Q2 (July - September) is usually the best result. Bulk of revenues come in July-September when the session is beginning. Other quarters are likely loss making or minimal profit. So be careful when extrapolating based on Q2 result.

GAME PLAN FOR WEEK ENDING 12 JANUARY 2018

The year began on a very good note. Market has been good, with no major pullback yet. Most of the equities look good, many of the companies have already achieved or surpass their previous full year result as at the third of the current year.

For the all share index, the next supply pint is between 40,630.58 and 42,445.71. Thus there is still room for good advancement.

For the rest of the report........https://www.slideshare.net/kelanio2002/game-plan-for-the-week-ending-12-january-2011

My next post will show some fundamentals on NASCON. The picture looks so good to be ignored. Despite the fact that I look more at technicals, the fundamental still determines whatever I will pick.

Latter today, we will see what MSCI Nigeria fund did in the 1st day that majority of offices returned to the market.

Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently.
